Good morning TMS-30

I have been quietly following main TMS thread for quite some time and stumbled across this one the other day. Hats off to so many of the traders doing well and also taking the time to help others. I really like the TMS system but still trying to establish my trade rules and being disciplined enough to use them. Hopefully on right track but would like to start sharing and welcoming feedback, advice, criticism, ect.

I am in Florida, USA so in EST. Not a full time trader but would love to be someday. Only 2 things stopping me... lots of capital and actually making money on trades !

Thanks Likica. I'm doing really well in oil. To be honest it was studying your charts that got me into it. It's difficult to explain in words because I follow it and have a feel for it.

I set up a pending order using an ea with an entry at a break of a certain point. In this case the pivot line. I also use trend lines, weekly highs and lows. I don't make the trade live yet I just wait for a tdi cross and 3 red/green in the matrix then I click the live button. I try and wait for the market to come to me then jump on.

I know pending orders aren't everyone's cup of tea. But my success has massively improved since I learnt how to use them. takes all of the emotion out of it and forces me to plan my entry and exit.

It's the EA which is drawing the horizontal buy/sell lines on their charts.

I personally have never gotten it to function correctly, so avoid it.

Anyway, I may try to switch my trading to 15min chart entry next week - I find that I'm entering too late when looking at the 30min chart, or maybe that's just me?

Hi mokuro89. Its an indicator that plots suggested entry and exit points. It is pretty accurate but I wouldn't follow it blindly. Still use tms rules for entry. it is posted in post 555 on this thread.

Hi Ivanyo. Version 4 is floating around and that doesn't work unless you pay for it. maybe you tried that?

@Nods80, where can i get eh dots indicator, iv googled but want to make sure im getting the right one.

like Ivanyo, i also feel that im entering late but id rather enter late and make a profit... talking about entering just want to make sure im entering a trade safely. should i only enter a trade when the green line crosses the red line and when the bar has closed... correct?

Hi Siboneloz. It's in the paper clip or attached to post 555. It might be worth posting your trades so that the traders with more experience can help.

By the way, I m working on the topic 'how to stay in the trade longer...let profit running..." . Inputs from you all are welcome and appreciated.
My profit per trade normally ATR(7) of H1 X 1.5 or prev swing high/low or 50% ADR and so far I am happy with it , however I would like to stretch out to the next level by to max my profit (for last opened position)...
Should it be better to exit:
- when next opposite colored abp with decent size body completed?
- or when price crossed 10EMA?
- or when the opposite TDI signal appears?
- or when a apb completed at the opposite side of PAC?
- what else? The more I searched the more I got confused and stuck as I found too many...
- or it psychological things I need to work within me...

Here is my Eu/Au (EA) m30 chart which has all my trades (good, bad and ugly), I nearly gave up on EA. There were lots of trades taken during choppiness

Summary of the week (very hectic):
- Mon: only good during Asian session (1 winner), LO had long signal but facing 200ma (no trade)
- Tue: only good short bouncing off 200ma during Asian (1 winner), LO choppy (1 loss)
- Wed: bad during Asian (3 small losses), LO short was good (1 winner), NY (1 small winner, 1 loss)
- Thu: choppy from Asian with lots of inside bars, LO choppy (2 small losses) and should have stayed in as red APBs were small compared to green APBs?),NY (1 winner)
- Fri:: Asian (no trade), FO (2 small losses), LO missed trade, NY (1 winner)
* loss (now a day) = - 12 (small), - 20 to -22pips (normall loss)
* winner: +30 to +50 pips.
Over all, not very good

+ Things to remember to apply: do not enter on small body apb, and do not exit at small body apb (opposite color)

Pls tell me what I missed....and how to improve...Thank you in advance.

Have you tried volume? I am doing some research to use volume in exit strategy....
