182.750 is technically the 161.8% extension of the fall from 185...wonder if that'll put a stopper on the downward momentum with a small bounce before continuing to 182.50

decisions decisions....

take a look at the daily chart and draw that bearish channel. the fall has a chance to be large. still think we get a significant bounce but wow

I noticed that GJ pair has the tendency to start it moves whether big or small, with the close of a XX:30 candle, for example a retrace slows when at or near hourly candle close.. it makes a last peak around XX:15.. then as soon as the XX:30 candle closes depending on the hour it starts its move.. this is quite the most repeating pattern based on timing.. just wanted to share..

Right after the 30 min close if candle closes with a daily low I will enter long..
but....
Right after the 30 min close if candle closes and builds a long bullish candle I will enter short..

Vola is so low.. I would enter short now but will skip it.. will wait for higher volatility..

Not to rant about the ridiculous regulations US traders are subject to by the NFA/CFTC, as I do that in other threads. But here is a major consequence from that as well, the low volatility in the NY afternoon. I remember not long ago trading right up until 3-4 pm. Since they have forced all but 5-6 brokers out of the US and traders really don't want to trade under ridiculous restrictions which are so different than the rest of the world, the London close is pretty much the end of the day now. Chalk another one up for the NFA!

usd broke out today. thinking of switching my trade ZU trade over to ZJ in hopes of getting a greater bounce. anyone have any thoughts on this?

agreed there....I get 500:1 in Cyprus....in Australia, 300:1 is default

Thats why I dont trade the US afternoon.

I use 6 offshore brokers. It's just frustrating to have to trade outside of my home country to simply have the trading freedoms everyone else does.

Yes that's true.. I also stay away from trading after NY close or if there are no news announcements anymore..
