You say banks dont trade news in this way. You're the fool man. Check out my above post and watch the top video from 16:00 - 19:00. You'll see the same trades taking place.

As for slippage, it can be overcome if you know how lol. Just because you don't know how doesnt mean there aren't others who do.

Banks trade news by having an algo execute buy or sell automatically depending on the what the number comes out at. I doubt you're clever enough to build an algo to do this.

Hi Tony, I like what your doing here! I think you already answered before but just checking, I opened an position on audusd (just demo), a buy position, which went up about 60 pips, it dropped a bit, now back up 65 pips.

If I now check the daily trend, it was bearish.. Would you always leave your position open until it hits 120 pips? Or would you take profit at a certain moment when it would look like it will go down again?

Don't complicate your life with trends or other analysis. This is my opinion and perspective. As long as you have a nice entry, let your bird fly. The sky is the limit and the weatherman isn't always right. Look at the rate they predicted on the AUD, they were wrong and most of the world, fell in the pit. Good luck.

Thanks. I got profit but couldn't get time to post.

I saw some hot discussion here and I wanted to say that All traders have their own ways of trading and all methods are good as far as method is giving you profit and you are comfortable with it. Some people just criticize other traders, they should pay attention to their own trading.

Algo trading has become way too saturated to turn a profit like you used to be able too. Funny you should say that because I used to use an algo to trade news, you think you know it all but you don't.
