you said the key word,,,microscope
timeframes are not different charts---they are all the same information of the m1 chart
as clive rightly points out,,,all charts start from m1
m5 chart candles are simple made up of 5 m1 candles
so think of it as microscope
lets say you are looking at the h1 chart,,,,your looking at the last 10hours as to what price has done,,,,,if your looking at the same on m1 chart your looking at 600 1min candles and its way to much to see on one chart,,,so you put it under the microscope and you zoom in.

as for your method and explainations,,,,,,,i do fully agree with you in your method,,,,your not being shall we say too forwards in your opinions,,,,it works for you my friend.
yes clive is very diplomatic,,,,i like that in clive but i also like how direct and clear you are in your i
opinion and expression.

clive has his method and it works for him.....you have your method in volving fibs and harmonics,,,,personallyi like both and i can relate to them,,,i am a lover of fibs and harmonic patterns etc

i guess with clives simple method you can make different variations of it,,,,,itall comes down to what your comfortable using.
i know i like some indicators my self..why??? if it tells me a story then great rather then trying to read the mind of a chart,,,,makes it easier,,,but i still like a clean chart.
im always looking for ways to make a chart better and easier.

your detail you gave of your setup is clear and easy to understand dee50,,,,,fantastic

Hi Igor. Sorry for taking so long to respond. I have no idea where the idea came from to "shift" an MA forward, possibly from Joe Dinapoli's method, but if you just put the EMA on your chart 1 set to 0 and 1 set to Shift 2 you will see the benefit of the shift 2. I use the 5 EMA for my entries, I am looking for a Candle close beyond the 5EMA before entering. If you do this exercise with an 5 EMA set to shift 0 you will get a lot of false entries, set it to shift 2 and see the difference. There is a thread here on FF, Clive Harris Stochastic Method started by Eelfranz some years ago, you can see lots of examples of the 5 entry method there. The 5 method has been around for a long time and it has always been set to "Shift 2". I have tried googling for more definitive information but I can not find any.

Hi,
since dee50 talks about ABCD with Fibonacchi, I have played a little with ZigZag and created an indi, which shows ABCD moves based on ZigZag + their Fibonacchi retracements.

TT Indy gave heads up for both trades and also confirmed the exits, EU & EJ top of the 5 min but dropped significantly on the 1min showing a strong chance of a reversal or almost certainly consolidation.

I am convinced that we can use the TTindy numbers to give us a heads up of potential trades so we can "Plan To Trade" I am going to run a screen grab programme and see if I can directly relate the numbers to the angle of the 100 on the chart. W.I.P. There are repeating patterns on a chart so there will be repeating patterns in the numbers on the TT Indy, just got to identify them.

GC, thanks for this indicator. I've been having a difficult time recognizing M's and W's, and this is going to help a lot.

Fixed a few bugs + manual level select.
The three Fibos are selectet by color. If FibColor1 = NONE, Fib1 dont show.

Would you be kind enough and share the mq4-source file please? The indicators on the Threads are mostly source file and there should be no reason to post ex4-files. I for one has a problem in that my one platform does not show any ex4-indicators.

I just don't want the mq4 file to post, since I am not 100% done with it. Furthermore it will be useless for you anyway, because it's iCustom function calls the ZigZag.ex4 file, which you seem not to have.

correct me if im wrong.since build 600+ you.only need ex4 files to make indicators work.mql4 files eg source files hold the code written by the coder...my question is why do you want the mql4 file eg want the code.if you.want to use the code the ask the owner if you.can use it.i have recently.cone across an incident where in my opinion the best programmer you.could.find has been involved in someone trying to steal there work etc.....so much so they have walked away and now the whole.group has come to a stand stillwhy would you want

DevonTrader, I do NOT want his or anyone else's coding information. I am not a coder firstly, but I did mention that one of my platforms do not allow me to use any ex4-files. On top of that one cannot send ex4-files via e-mail either - reason for that? Security issues!
So before you slate me, just think for yourself.
I am a security conscious person firstly but also an ethical individual and will not "steal" from anyone ever.
Fine with me if he feels he will not divulge the code as he says it is not completed. Why are the top coders supplying their codes? Because they know that what they do are the best!
