looks like we've got a new skipper to steer the ship whilst I'm away, was that 100pips plus today??? Awesome trading.....
Plus you decided to stop whilst ahead another master stroke of trading, knowing when enough is enough...

All good stuiff my friend and if the moving averages and their numbers give you an edge, so be it, who am I to argue...
Just one thing about the 100lwma, its not important the number that I use as its the slope I'm measuring so other MA's slopes would show similar rankings just a bit more sensitive or less depending on the number used. I just use 100 because its 100 minutes or hours or days and shows the true trend. By that I mean the movement either up or down and how strong...
Thats all i'm interested in is identifying the stronger moves the number ofthe MA is irrelevant to me just increases or decreases the sensitivity , nothing else. Once we identify the stronger moves then its about price action trading and identifying a safe place to enter just like the Captain this morning. Buy dips sell peaks...Buy the bottom of waves sell the tops of waves as identified by our CCI. Strong trenders give us a 70% hit rate plus a bigger winner simply because its with the trend. Pullbacks are smaller than momentum runs...
I'm sure you agree with all this just like I agree with your higher timeframe theories, however I choose to ignore the higher timeframes purely because of the time of day, market opens, where the majority of your higher timeframe runs start. At this time of day all I'm concerned with is where is the money going, not where has it been going, but where is it going right now.....
Thats all I'm interested in following the money as it comes to the table...I'm after the move of the session..The London Breakout or whatever you like to call it..risk small reward bigger hopefully..
Anyway I'm not arguing with you just putting my view on it all but lets not fallout about it as I respect your trading methodology enormously, just not my way...

Absolutely right about the correct entry but there was just one thing missing on that entry......ME!!! I was still in bed...
As for my actual entry that was a break and retest of previous resistance at 184.25, like I said in earlier post once we identify the strong trender and GBPJPY was top at the time then its all about price action and buying dips off of support/resistance. Identifying good places to join the trend and thats what I believe I did there...
Anyway your charts look great with your signals showing up well, haven't tried it recently just relying on my price action skills to enter but I like what your indy is showing us for sure...Whole chart setup looks really good...

Sold it a touch early but got a nice reaction off of that weekly R1 so had to be done plus identified that strong level off of the Harenko chart...Small 10 pip risk and will hold on Harenko chart...

Not looking too good at the moment but hoping the BRN and yesterdays high will protect my stop but if they break I will close out... {image}
If I had left my stop above last high about 20 pips I might of been ok but was happy up above BRN etc

UC +11 +45. AU +22 +41. Both trades Top trenders out of the Majors, but, neither would have done much if they were not aided and abetted by Mrs Yellen. Draghi coughed and cleared his throat and the EU started to drop but fairly soon after that the market realised he just had a slight chill and price came back up. {image} {image}
