Hy .. are you using same setting for all pairs? and which is the best one in terms of profit? What's max dd you had?

Yes on all pairs mentioned. I would start with the EU.

I start pruning at 20% drawdown. I try not to exceed that .

i've tried to make a backtest in mt4 but no result .... can anyone help me how to make a backtest ? thank you

Hi Bill, how about multi lofsfactor_trend change..? its remain 1.0?
and if for 10000 0.1 lot, multi lot is 1.0, tp is 5 or 3? not more?

Multi on trend change remains the same as my set. So if multi lot set 1.2 still will be 1.2 on trend change and so on...

I currently use 1.5 yet 1.2 is profitable as well with this tight setup.

if step 4 tp is 3

if step 2 tp is 5

I sometimes change between sets during faster market hours, news and such. Traders discretion...

At trend change if it doesn't cost much , I close all trades in the grid and start in the direction of the new trend immediately.

im using global prime. have been using this EA on it for weeks, all of a sudden a few days back the EA trend detection / trading hangs.

will have to try on another demo i guess

Try to reinstall Global Prime MT4 and maybe load it outside of the programs file folder on the C drive in it's own folder. (I do this for all my mt4 accounts to avoid conflicts)

I just loaded it up and will run a test over it. I used GP in the past and had no issues then.

The EA shows up fine with trend detection...so far

Lots=1.0 (0.1 for 5000 and 0.01 for 500)
MultiLotsFactor=1.0

Use multi on trend change 1.0 (not tested)

Initial deposit 50000.00
Total net profit 262164.00
Profit factor4.13
Max Drawdown 62% (you will manage your risk in your way)

Hi GT,

Is it possible for me to get your Matrix Grid CE 1.0 version for backtesting? I can't seem to find any previous versions that enables backtesting without CE on that some are testing and showing results here.

weird i just loaded it up on an fxopen platform, same thing happened no trend detection . i put it down to mayb because its a weekend, but now you're saying its showing the trend.


really dont know whats going on here
