LOL! I spotted the retrace here - so i used GA as an indi cause PA was advanced... since the retrace was shallow... this usually works well but i did not have the TDI cross so not pure TMS... so no heavy trade

gs, congrats!!! amazing trades and timing. Is there post where you explain how you choose your entries, what do you look for and such? The way you trade I mean. If you could point me, I could search on your profile with a keyword or post number.


I only grabbed +35 on GU, +24 on GA and +10 on EC and got some losers of course... not reached my daily goal of pips, but well, not too bad. Still a lot to improve and learn!!
Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

small bag of 30 green from oil long on M30 at weekly S/R as TDI M5 green crossed red and just above MBL, TDI on M30 created double bottoms, exited at DOL

Thanks for the advice - I did not trade today because I never trade on Fridays (was out with friends).

taking a short on USDJPY. confirmed HA candle below the PAC, M30 and H1 TDI heading south with a nice hook down, and trading away from DOL. Is this good?
i'm still learning with this system, tell me if i do something wrong..

before this i'm taking a bull doji in EURUSD, almost got 18 pips but i got to greedy and hoping the price still going up. Ended with -20 pips.

Congrats on the green pips likica, gs and mordin!

nice shot. I don't normally trade this pair as ADR too small. As long as you have reasonable TP, it should make you happy

what is ADR? my trade already closed with a nice +12 pips.. when i see the opening HA, its far below the PAC, i think it can be heading south for more. but the weekly support is nearby.

Hi 9045, not a pair i trade as like likica ADR a bit low. Just watch that 200ema on 4hr - it might provide support to the downside.

200ema is pretty powerful, just look back on various timeframes any currency. Will it go down further, who knows. On the 5min chart price has stalled. Friday is profit taking day by the institutions. Any green pips are good.

What do you guys do when you seeing a chart like this? M30 TDI already hooked up, and just now the H1 TDI is also hooking up. But, the blue HA hasnt closed above the PAC. do you guys still taking the trade?

I take profits at targets - Using round numbers ie: 1.53000, 200 & 50ema's or LTR atr projections depending on price action. This image may help how I trade the GU this morning.

Thanks Ray for sharing and helping others. It will be helpful as exiting a trade is still hard to decide for a lot of us. For me, GU is not my favorite even though I always have the chart up for viewing since I normally trade GA

It looks like you took the trade based on BO of the last blue APB where TDI not crossed on M30 yet.

Managing GJ is still my challenge as the its moves could drain me out if I monitored the trade. With G pairs, I normally scale them down on M15 for HL HH/ LH LL to get in when I saw divergence on M30.

Pls share your thoughts if you have a different and better way to deal and manage them.

I would take a long on GU m30 since it had divergence and bounced off S/R and created high low and TDI green crossed red and crossed MBL, my entry would be a break out of last swing high, my PT would be at DOL (light blue line) I would not trade against DOL nor 200MA but in this instant it went thru both of them earlier and since PA was good (div and then HL) to go long.

Here is my GU chart with some marks for clearer explanation.

During NY I am normally busy with oil, I occassionally glance at FX but not always, my PTs for fx are normally smaller (around 20pips to 30pips) as I found price move up and down fast but not large like LO on some pairs. For instant, I got in EA and GA and had my PT for GA 40 (I normally have higher PTs for G pair than E pairs) while EA 30, I ended up only bagged EA with 30green (it went up nicely by the way), exited my GA for BE (see my EA GA charts below)

I don't normally monitor all my trades, once I spotted a set up I entered my trades then PTs and SLs also set, come back each 30min to check across. I m not sure if anything to do with age but more to do with experience IMO.
For me, I need to have something to base on to stay with the trade if I monitor it which can be size of apb, price staying one side of 10ema, tdi crossed back, tdi angleator change color... I often switch my charts to M15 after entering my trades ( of course H1 TDI also on M15 chart) so I can see PA change and get out quicker than M30 if price retrace/reverse.
I didn't take pure H4 trades as I found that I could not handle DD. I prefer having H4 H1 same direction with my M30. I hardly left my trades overnights either, in and out and done for each day is my trading type for oil, gold and FX at this stage.

Since lots of us are interested in EUR/AUD (EA). Here is my D1 H4 M30 charts to see where it is sitting where it got rejected between 61.8 and 38.2% fib levels and it is bearish view for interday trading. We might see price ranging on Mon before it starts to break that triangle on D1.

I agree, sideways action most likely, I interpret the long wicks on the last two daily candles as signs of indecison.

I 'd like to know if you rely very heavily on the 10 ema trend dashboard or the angleator. I find that I tend to put too much faith in them and stay in trades too long. It seems also that they both change too quickly; seems like a change in price of a few pips will cause even the larger time frame signals to change.

Hi mordin, my trading style is built from a combination of the way Lastingwell (LW), Phx62 and likica trade. First LW has described in detail how she trades on the TMS thread just recently... i recommend reading that the idea is simple... what you kind of do is trade the higher TF and then have a look at the LT for a possible setup... (i cant explain it like she can) - This is my spin on it - so just say the 4H is just about to or looks like it could cross for a short for 100pips... well then shouldnt there be a trade on the 1H which gives you at least 30-50pips? But, the 1H is too course for a good entry so the best thing to do is get entry on the 30M. Why? cause there are double as many entries I also follow the rules by Phx62 @ the FO/LO but unlike Phx62 i must also have a TDI cross not just PA

I must say that none of this is of any use unless traders practice as much as possible

EDT: oh, and above all if PA is not on your side then all is lost - remember and never forget PA tells everything what to do...
