Tired of the same stuff all over again and again i bought a book called "Trading Triads - Unlocking the secrets of market structure and trading in any environment" Once in a while I go around looking for some mind blowing stuff but all I get is a headache. Let me see what this one contains ...

Trading Triads is very good book its really express the secrets of the market structure which is so helpfull for daily trading...

There is always this thing about trading on lower time frames and higher time frames. J16 advises higher time frames and I think that is true. you make markets work for you when you trade on HTF and let the trades run. I have found a way of looking at this that settles this debate once for all. There is a lot of psychology to trading and we have to explore natural ways to trade. For me to enjoy trading is as important as making money. If you dont enjoy and if you are not passionate about what you are doing it becomes hard to sustain lean times and spend thousands of hours at this. Except in a few rare cases it is time and repetition that improves the chance of success in any endeavor.

I don't usually chime in, but this one i had to say something.

Don't bother trading lower TF , its not worth it for below reasons.

1. Lower probability because order flow is weaker. It takes time to build strong order flow at any level. It just won't happen in 15-30 mins. Institutions need time to fill their orders at any given level.
2. There is very little room to move after PA confirmation or not. This again reduces your probability of the trade and the moves are small giving you smaller R/R. Going to point 1 institutions when build up strong orders will move it strong. I can post many examples to prove this point.

My advice to newbies. Don't go down lower TF thinking you will get more setups. more setups mean less probability , lower RR , higher cost of trading. you will get in to a endless cycle of pain and suffering and this will eventually affect your psychology and make you want to quit. This IMO is the top 2 or 3 reason why most people don't make it in this business.

yea , this supply and demand is again nothing but support and resistance . Most will tell you it is not and it is something different, but look closely at the supply demand levels - they are nothing but PPZs.

Well said Z.I agree with your points.

At the same time if we come up with too many rules to trade(such as trade only on a specific time frame ) it kills the fun in trading. I think it is fractals , the PA technically should work on all charts but R/R as you said will be lower. The reaction time should be faster on LTF , broker commissions increase and the chances of mismanaging a trade goes up. This is where I was trying to come up with an idea where it is more natural to trade something that strikes a balance between HTF and LTF. I will explain that in another post.

Hey Z

Support are resistance are synonymous with supply and demand levels as you said. But when you look at the chart with the perspective of supply and demand levels some PPZ's will stand out from others. I was exploring if we can use this as confluence with our trades. I really have to test this out to see if it improves trading. I cannot say anything certain at this point.

The setup looks solid, there is also DBHLC thrust candle through the 90.00 level on 4H.
I just wonder where would the Stop go as per daily possibly around 92.00 (quite a huge stop thoug).

Thanks for the nice comments i'm glad it can help. This was a newbie webinar I did for private forum members. I've done others and many more hundreds of webinars on the PF. I'll be uploading more free guest videos over the coming weeks/months especially into the launch and beyond of the new site. So keep an eye out

I would wait for PA to tell me where to put the stop. I favor the classic PA as J16 and mike teach in the thread. If we got a bearisn pinbar or BEOB, the stop would go above the bar high. I tried to draw it up in the chart here.

Thanks for this, makes it seem very clear. Also using the previous box range "size" as the target for this break would have held you in good stead, as it fell back soon after and is re-testing.

Thanks, it sounds reasonable to wait for PA structure to form before entering a trade. I'll be watching this level closely.

You write about alternatively paying from live trades instead of monthly fee.

Does this mean, when the new site is published, non-members are able to choose if paying a monthly fee or a certain %-amount of their trades?
If so and I decide to pay per % of the gains have I to link my account to a trade account of yours? This paying per % is endless, not limited in time?

Does anyone have any idea whatsoever on how I actually find the forex factory forum on Tapatalk?
