Trading the news

With the yen pairs gaining strength, I'm looking at trading the aud/jpy as well. I will wait until after news is hit before making a decision on this pair

I was taken into the south on the AUDUSD. I will continue to hold my position until I see a reason to exit.

I most likely got taken in too soon. The reason I am going to keep this trade open though is because I think the aussie is ready to come down more. Bulls are starting to fizzle out. Let's see what happens.

I have been brought into by the north now...looks like I should have done a better job identifying consolidation!

I am long on GBPUSD and GBPJPY. Both pairs have had a nice bullish reaction to the GBP CPY news. I am watching for an entry on EURUSD, EURJPY or EURAUD

Final trade of the time being will be long on EUR/USD. Let's see how these play out! Our next news item will be the NZD dairy prices. Keep an eye on the AUDNZD as I feel this pair has bottomed out and is ready for a sharp rebound.

sorry I haven't been posting. I've been fine tuning my strategy. Please see the revised rules regarding my strategy. I've made some decent money last week and this week. Today's RBNZ rate decision was a big money maker for me. I made pips on the NZDUSD NZDJPY and AUDNZD. Check it out! I have only posted the NZDUSD but if you look on the 5 min chart on the NZDJPY and AUDNZD you can see similar patterns.

Btw we have the AUD employment reports in about a half hour stay tuned!

I like the idea..I've been a news trader myself for along time...But you know high spread during important news releases kills alot of news traders...Keep up the good work and best of luck!!

Slowly inching up on the 5 minute...I have bought in on the audusd...eyeing the audjpy as well

You are correct! However I have noticed that after 5 minutes the spreads come back down, at least for my broker

Just bought the AUDJPY...the AUDNZD is falling, most likely due to the RBNZ rate decision today...I have shorted that pair

Breakout to the south...recognize when the trade is going against you and get out, I am now short AUDUSD AUDNZD and AUDJPY
