DAX IN THE Evening

here is my chart.. 1 min with current numbers..952 was a strong number as you can see.. 940 was the number stopping for couple hrs now..i have had 4 trades since abt 6.10.. try to keep to 6/8 a night

The week started by looking at a decent correction, but ended the week with testing all time highs.
Funny how the market can just change on a dime.
Working on a project to month end, so will not be able to update the thread.
But will try and do an update next weekend, depending on net access and time restraints.

If you are trading Indices I don't understand why you would not be using Volume profiles= horizontal volume at price. tpo's, etc. The advantage of trading an index is you have access to true volume, not this CFD, ETF structured contract volume that brokers supply. But the good thing is, it makes it easier for pro traders with the best data/platform to take your money.

Have a look at Sierra charts as a cheap option , Data DTNIQ. If you want to splash out use Market Delta or Investor/rt. with dtniq.

Still doing the same stuff everyday.

Learning how to sleep for different periods of the the day.
Instead of the straight 6 or 8 hours.
Bit of challenge, got to love trading for this stuff.
Food is sought of OK, baked dinner for breakie.
But exercise is missing doing the week.

Think(dangerous) that the US could push ahead so might be able to short at a higher price.
Big weekend so might not make it late.

Got the alarm set for 4am, 3 hours before US close.
Hair and make up will not be done.
Then some times maybe should just take the long train and have done with it.

Funny most of my trades have been short on the DAX this week.

Currently on the Biphasic (20-minute nap), still not market flexible.

Good stuff, being on Twitter and FF can make you loose focus.
And get away from the told you so stuff.
It's how you mange the trade yourself.

Week was good 400 point range.
Had the big pants down on Wednesday, when the lines on my little chart mean nothing.
Also went pants back up same day.

Finding some good trade in the first hour futures.
We seem to respect the levels from the previous day cash.
Also the futures after the close(4.5 hours) work well, also good with FTSE with a smaller point range.

Got some levels to work with on Monday.
Monday is sometimes hard for me not sure why.
Start with smaller size, can have more looses than winners on Monday, but always look to finish up on the day.
With size increase when the market develops and I get into the market swing.
PATIENCE IS THE KEY ON MONDAY.
Monday is not a carry on from Friday, don't try and hit the ball out of the park from the start.
Not that is my style of trading.

Should add this from Friday.
Took about 3 points at the futures have been 10.
Short from open futures 10517 look to cover at 10504 area.
It done that at the get go greed kicked in wanted more ended up with 3 points.
I caught a couple of 30 to 40 points moves in the mid week.
Even i knew they were just not there in these trades. smack

Plan same trade at the open, done the same as above had tp at 10504 hit 10505, did not cover.
Watched it go offside and took profit about 50 mins later at 10505.
Also add planed to short at 10527, but did not take because had not closed to 10517 trade.
So wasted 30 to 40 points in the first hour and ended up with just 15.
Bit soul and mind destroying this game.
With the early trade screw up lost focus on the NFP and US close.
What should have been a great day ended up being poor to average.

International woman's day.

Monday German Trade data then Eurogroup meeting in Brussels.
Thursday German CPI and Volkswagen quarterly results.

Thurs - Friday left bearish divergence on the 4 hourly.

Seem to have tested that break area from last week 11450 approx low volume from ECB meeting did break but did not seem to mean much.

Also was out of the office so missed a great short 11530 area on the futures.

Guess the US will drive the next bigger price move.

11517 area looks a prob at the mo for a push higher.

Japan and Germany full of old people.
Can they change.
Me talking crap.
DAX what another week.
How high how low for the year.
EPS is crap but PE is still good on the DAX.
Performance market I know, no divs.
