Trapping System: Tunnel Martingale

I had at another chart putted another EA ! That I think was the reason about trail stops and stop looses ! Now it started to looks good If this happens again i will tell you but i think now it should be good!

So what is that Debugging mode ? What is doing that? For what is that ?

I think that is answering my question why the orders for the other part (say BUY section or SELL section) suddenly closing...
In ur case, the 0.06 lot order was closed without closing the others, that's it was weird for me.

Because I have placed delete all orders in 1 function call, so if I would want to delete 1, I will delete all orders related to magic number you've set (default is 8080).

When the order properly closed, it will have this line in your expert tab.


Debugging Mode generally will dump debugging text to Experts tab for my reference if any problem happened. It won't have any impact on your trades, probably little (very little) performance to the EA will be reduced, because writing to log frequently.

I came to the conclusion.. this strategy is good, but if you have 1.000.000$ on the account (but if I have one million, i wouldnt be risky that for 20$ for day

The situation like today on EurUsd is killing this strategy... 8 pips up, 8 pips down, open buy, open sell, open buy, open sell... it can kill accounts.. (of corse I test it on demo)

Not necessary $1.000.000, if:

1. You can find the best settings and options for this EA.
   few scenarios for example: 1 cycle with 1.00 starting lot after SNR reached (quite risky), unlimited cycles with 0.01 starting lot anytime.
2. Avoid market holidays for respective currency.
3. You happen to select a "good" broker, which has lower spreads.

That's why I said in 1st thread, your profit depends on your own strategy and scenario.

I have another strategy actually, which will open 1 cycle of trades based on daily high (for BUY STOP) and daily low (for SELL STOP) with very small profit and high lots. That works fine and good, 90+% of the trade is profitable. The bad is, probably randomly every month there'll be 1 or 2 times the price is not moving as expected. So, I'm gonna mix this and daily high low to minimize the risk.

So far my observation,
My demo account (above this thread) was started at $5000, I was too optimistic with 0.5 starting lots and profit target at $0.5 each cycle. But then martingale reaches index 5, then my account got stucked. STOP order wasn't executed since I have no margin at all.
I closed all orders and started again with $3100+, so far 1 week I got $400+. When NFP announced, I think that was the best day, but also the worst day. I got big profit for $200 that day, but martingale index reaches 10 before NFP announced.

some settings from my testings:

1. $3100+ starting
2. Start AnyTime
3. $0.20 Profit Target (No stop loss if you use Dynamic Money or Fixed Money)
4. Starting Lot at 0.02
5. Martingale Factor use standard 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, ....
6. Max Martingale Factor 25
7. Gap 40 pips (my broker's spread is 0.2 EURUSD, and 0.3 USDJPY)
8. EURUSD and USDJPY

Some facts I observed:

1. Max martingale reached so far is at index 10, which is 512 (which will creates you 10.24 lots if started from 0.02 lots).
2. Index 10 was reached during: before NFP, around 15:00 Singapore time (sometimes only, not everyday), at sometime this Monday which is lazy day for EURUSD.
3. There's no day without profit (at least in 1 week testing since started with $3100+). Minimum profit around $20, max around $200 (at NFP 4 Feb).
4. Biggest profit in 1 cycle so far: $7.17 (EURUSD), and $14.53 (USDJPY).
   Not sure whether that is accurate, but it should be. Since I calculate it when I do Close for each order.
5. I observed that Fixed Points scenario is not really good when your martingale index keeps growing. The best options would be either Dynamic Money or Fixed Money.
   The more martingale index used (especially when sideways), 1 points movement can be a big movement.

Probably next in v1.05 or v1.06, I will reveal another target type, which is the usage of trailing profit, this will maximize the profit per cycle as well.

I will observe this for 2 or 3 more months, of course in demo.

There is suggestion, if you don't want to take any risk then take two trades daily. Both trades 5 minutes before London and NY open, keep profit minimum.

That is also another scenario....
That's why you'll see so many settings on my EA....

On that screen which i show you from today you can see index 12 , which is 20.48 lots started from 0.01 microlots

The one with red circle, was that coming from multiple charts, with multiple EA attached to it (of course 1 EA 1 chart), and all of them are the same pair???
I see all of them GBPJPYm....

In that case definitely some strange behaviour will exist, because I never tested that. And why would I need to test that scenario? Because once I set to 1 pair, probably I would want to open another chart for another pair then start with a different magic number.
Am I right?

I've never tested Support Resistance and Daily High Low thoroughly.
Today just finished testing and fixed couple bugs.

I will post EA updates tomorrow, v1.05.
- fixed Support Resistance scenario with limited max martingale count
- New added feature, Daily High and Low (instead of Support Resistance)
- Line colouring fixes
- Added time limiter to Support and resistance

this strategy called Surefire hedge , i was using it on my real account Manuel best way to use it
1- be4 news about 5 min becuz news moving the market
2- when you see W or M pattern and i can find this pattern alot on renko chart Like the pic below

Here is food for thoughts. It allows more steps in the sequence, but you have to get two wins in a row to reset number of lots.

I came to know that there is martingale series which less risky than 1, 2, 4.
You can use 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2, 2....

The only problem is if you set it to Money based target, the longer the martingale used, then the longer the target is.
