The ONE mistake that KPMG has made is they shouldn't have allowed the founder to buy the intellectual property and the brand or at least should've extracted more to at least satisfy ALL the creditors. In a forex brokerage, the intellectual property and the brand is just as important as the monetary assets because it's a service type of company. In a service type of company like a software company, all there is is the intangibles. Once the intangibles is gone, the company is pretty much worthless.

And once the company goes into receivership, ALL assets including the intangibles should be in lockdown. The founder wants to jump ship, then he needs to take care of the sinking ship first. And obviously he doesn't want to, and it's up to the special administrator, KPMG to stop him. They let the founder go and stopped the clients and basically let the client holding the bag.

Not initial deposit is in segregated accounts.
All money are in segregated account.
When you are in a trade money is in a pool. When not in a trade money is in a segregated accounts.

Ok so it seems who just held money in their accounts or had profit trades in different CHF cross and different time of snb movement should not have any problem for take back full amount.

Then click "Customer Agreement" under "Alpari Direct Pro and Alpari Direct"
Backup the PDFs. You will have two PDFs with the same content.

I notice Alpari UK has changed the robots.txt under https://www.alpari.com/my/apply, I think maybe something will be hard to found later. So I do like this.

In the FAQs from KPMG, there is

"Q. What is the difference between retail and professional clients? A. Retail clients are primarily private individuals holding trading accounts with the Company; investments made by retail clients are afforded greater protection under the FCA regulations and will generally have a segregated claim against the client money pool. The majority of the Companys clients are classified as retail clients. Professional clients are individuals or entities that are considered to possess the experience, knowledge and expertise to make their own investment decisions and assess the risks inherent in those decisions. These clients are afforded less protection by the FCA and as a result may not receive segregated protection. Instead, these clients may be non-segregated and therefore have an unsecured creditor claim against the ordinary funds (the House Estate) of the Company. The classification of the claim will depend on the account documentation established between the Company and client. "

It is not clearly what "Professional clients" is defined. So it based on the user agreement.
