Quoting fastbusinessDislikedYes, they do have good rates. But only 40:1 leverage! Do you have any idea where to find GBP/CHF 30 $ rollover? Man Financials got it, but leverage is not suitable...Ignored
Quoting stockwetDislikedThere current rollover rates are as posted at http://www.fxdd.com/rolloverrates.html. I checked the GBPJPY rate online against the swap rate on my demo account on Thursday and they were identical. Remember that on Wednesday, the rates posted will be triple what they normally are.Ignored
Quoting stockwetDislikedHo hum. Same old stuff. Yet another broker that's difficult to rely on.
I've had problems with orders several times now with FXDD. Currently, I'm in the middle of my NFP trade, but, my platform is frozen. I called and found out that their server has crashed. So, I tried calling the dealing desk to close one of my orders and they aren't accepting orders by phone. There is no way right now to manage orders with FXDD. It's now 33 minutes past the NFP report and their server has been down for 25 minutes. Ugggh!Ignored

Quoting PipsmanDislikedHi nd1377 and all,
I also noticed FXDD was widening spread on GBP/USD today. But I was too nervous to watch both markets and news cast to discern the exact spead, the time and the duration of FXDD's spread jump.
Can anyone confirm that 50p (given and take) G/U spread happened
- right before the release - how many minutes or seconds prior?
- exactly during the release/broadcast?
- or right after the NFP release, and lasted for how many minutes?
I had been thinking about putting in both long and short stop entry orders 15p away from the market with 10p stop loss. Would have been burned badly by the spread jump, wouldn't I?
Thanks for any feedback.

Quoting nd1377DislikedToday, when Non Farm Payrolls were released, FXDD's spread for the GBP/USD was around 50 Pips. If you didn't have a stop on greater than 50 pips, you probably got stopped out. FXDD claims that they get their spreads off of the interbank market. I watched several feeds including MB Tradings feed (supposed to be interbank market) and MB's spread never came close to 50 pips. FXDD's spreads did finally settle down after about 5 minutes or so. Then, at about 8:38 AM EST, FXDD's system went down. I never read or experienced anything bad about FXDD, but there is always a first time and this was the time.Ignored
Quoting AdrianDislikedSogt, you made the comment that Forex.com is a no-no. Could you be more specific as to why. I have been using them for a small size account. I am soon going to considerably larger size and am shopping for the best broker.
ThanksIgnored
