Hi Smash. That was with reference to the 189 high/168 low. The TL that I talk about is weekly, dating back to the failed intervention in Oct 2011 and every single event since then - the 133.5 rally, the 147 peak, the BOJ rally and 'gap' at 149, the market at 159, the Scottish referendum at at 174.5 etc etc.

So now it's dropped out again but is having a hard time getting back up - so far. It either needs a better retracement, an awful lot of strength ... or something has changed.

That's cool... I know we trade in different ways, and I am starting to take that into account. To each his own.

But you must know that 168 (low) - 189 (high) is an awful wide range. It took months and maybe even close to a year to complete that range. I'm not sure if the average Forex Factory trader has that kind of patience (I know I don't).

Possible failure in the anticipated 182.4 area in what appears as a rising wedge but it may yet break up into 182.6/7. Over that, it probably heads for the 184 area next. Bearishness is only supported with a fall below wedge centre at 182.1/2 and only confirmed with a fall back to the start of the 'wedge' at about 181.5 and a failed retest.

Regardless, we're still in or at the end of a five wave trend, this move up from 180.1 being wave 5 or E and at this time the present wave has travelled 0.618 the length of A. Good overstretched conditions on multiple time frames, possible rising wedge maybe having finished 5 waves, good horizontal level resistance, concurrent with previous descending trend line, hard up against daily 50 simple moving average and reasonable lower time frame divergence coming in. Uj maybe close to completing its triangle D wave??

And in spite of all that, it'll go up!

Guys, it may just be a minor rejection from a fib level. But it was a good stop there. Best to wait. But if it were to stop here, the bullish outlook could be in trouble

May continue a bit higher, but I believe the beast is at or is approaching levels where it will be sold off 5-10% from... I look forward to buying it after that happens, but for now I'm considering shorts.

Failing to crack 184 is clear indication of bearishness in the beast. So either short or stay away is the trade in my view.
