DislikedHey guys I have been using histdata.com for my historical forex data for a couple years and have recently downloaded data from Oanda. The CSV file is the real time bid/ask with the date and time down to the second. I usually import OHLC data with the date into MT4 no problem, but this new format is making a big road block for me. Any of you kind folks have any suggestions as to how I might convert this data into something MT4 can use?Ignored

Yep Dave_C, and if you look into my previous message about putting your script into GitHub, it will be a lot easier to keep track of what you have changed on the script and also it's easier to update for the people too. The Point calculation in MQ4 is not reliable and that is why I created the variable PointValue.
Okay then.. To make it clear, I have an example for you, but you have to adjust the code a little.
Below the 'void init()', you have to move down the white rectangle first so you can see the 'Comment()'.
Change this:

Our first experiment shows that the EA with your original code using PointValue (and it works, obviously..), now we can try to eliminate the PointValue by changing our EA again this way, in this experiment we will only change the buy (you can change the sell too if you want), but for the sake of simplicity I'll just change the buy:

Just a thought to the discussion: would it be helpful if a trader is using the Advisory Mode on screen - to announce either overbought or oversold conditions along with the trade? Looking at the popups would this be a helpful factor in understanding better the trade (or Traders Dynamic Index). If so i will look into this (just including it in the announcement may limit the questions or at least give people more resources to look at).
Just a thought to the discussion based on some of the advisory trades i have been looking at.
Also I noticed that changing the "Set Stop Loss to BreakEven" to better than current market conditions helps
I had a trade that had break event lower than current spread didn't loose much but thought it was interesting. i think the trade opened in a large spread period and the pips were around 3-5 for break even
