DislikedHi Dave Been testing the new set files uploaded earlier today with the MinPipGain parameter when i justnotice for some reason on the USDCAD pair both a buy and sell order was placed as can be seen in the active trade window below. I checked the jounal and the experts tab and can see there was no attempt to delete one of the trades as you would expect {image} This is the entries in the Experts tab 2015.02.11 21:59:59.973 TradersGift USDCAD,M15: modify #11197817 buy 0.10 USDCAD at 1.26336 sl: 1.25809 tp: 1.27536 ok 2015.02.11 21:59:59.911 TradersGift...Ignored
DislikedQuote Alex: Also one thing in my opinion should be considered that when a position was loser and the next trade was stopped by breakeven so it was positive even 0.01 cent there is no reason to increase the wager further but stay on the same wager. /quote Alex, I'm not sure if I understand this statement. If we are increasing wagers for failure to reach nominated level, are you now saying now that there is an exception to the rule that if the last trade was a break even after a loss, that we do not increase the next wager. That seems to contradict...Ignored
DislikedQuote Alex: i am sending you two set files that were tested from 01-19-14 to 31-12-14 which showed very good results. But the MinpipGain is not functioning properly because even if the wager cap has not been reached and the condition has not been fulfilled with previous order has not yet reached pips defined is stoping the progression when tested EUR15 for the whole 2014 on every tick method same for aud15 for 2014 , can't figure out what is going on. When Breakeven is disabled and only trailing stop is enabled it is functioning properly. Alex,...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I think you will find that one was an RSI Trade and one was a PSAR trade, its just that the comment had not been updated to reflect the strategy being used. Remember there are 3 strategies in the overall group. I have found that the profile group does not always accurately reflect every saved item and in this case the comment has just reverted to the generic value of the Message input in the EA. Help file reference: Message - Change this comment for each scenario. This will be shown in the Trade Log and Account History (these columns are...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Dave , It is totally logical and it is far not a contradict i will explain it as detailed as possible so you can get the point. Example: 1. A buy order is opened lot 0.1 SL 50 TP 100 2. the buy order was closed by SL so we have a loss of 50$ approximately. 3. Now according to our progression the wager is increased lets say for example by 1.2 so the lot will be 0.12 SL 50 and TP 100 4. Assume now that the second order that we just opened with 0.12 lot was closed out by breakeven with a profit of 0.01 cent or more no matter the only thing...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Alex, I appreciate your passion and I was prepared to work with your concept up to a point, but you have gone far beyond the scope of this EA. I sincerely thank you for your input but I feel compelled to remind you, no staking plan can reverse the house advantage!!!!Ignored

DislikedIntroduction of the ability to back test using the every tick method. This was a difficult task because the EA can run on all timeframes. It was never designed for the every tick method since it always uses previous bar close (unless it is a straddle trade) which means the appropriate model is - "EA's that explicitly control bar opening". When the every tick model is used, each tick represents a bar so the back test results were incorrect because a new bar on the test is the next tick. Anyway, we have successfully tested the rewrite and all is working....Ignored

Disliked{quote} I've been following this conversation with interest, and just wanted to add my 2 cents. I believe the idea Alex has proposed actually has a great deal of merit because it decreases risk under the quasi-martingale scheme currently implemented. Under this scheme, a trader can sustain only a limited number of losses. The number depends on how much the wager is progressed with each loss. In Alex's proposal, breakeven trades would not result in a progression of the wager. So for each breakeven trade, the trader would get another roll of the dice,...Ignored
