Fake break out of the bottom of the box; got long on the return back up. I was a bit hesitant as the trend is obviously down, but the micro trend had turned up. As such, I didn't hold a runner, which I should have.

Got the first 2/3s of the position out on this quick bounce, thought there might be a return up to the top of that range. But no, now I'm short.

Used the highest volume node as the pullback point to short into the change of trend (due to the extent of the move down on the change of trend, I didn't think it would make it all the way back up to 1.5071). Tried to give it a little room, but the runner was taken out at BE.

At my office computer now, playing with chart colors. I like white, but black certainly seems easier on the eyes. Found a nice short from resistance; 2/3 out at +4, we'll see if the last part can make it back to the middle of this range.

yeah... hahaha

the european market starts about 20h over here, so I would have three or four hours to operate... trade during the american market would be impossible... using range bars, three or four hours is plenty of time to do something... maybe not catch the best moves but something...

back in brazil when I was studying at night and working during the day that was the routine, so wouldn't be soo different...
but I dont know, let's see...

I'm starting to appreciate a simple trend line on a 15M chart to help lead the way. The volatility also helps. The plan was simple; buy breaks of substructure ranges with the trend, fade breaks of the substructure ranges against the trend. And the plan worked -

Two trades for today on dow jones. Both good trades but today the moves have been not so sharp.

first trade, a long trade for 72 tick profit.

and second one, a short trade for a 15 tick profit.

hey pepe

do you have any rule about how you set your stops?
I did a few trades last week but I'm finding hard to set the SL...

I have tried only trend lines now on the DAX 3pt chart, looking the 5 and 7 pt charts and trying to enter only on the main trend... if I set the SL too tight I got stoped all the time, and could find a good r/r yet... any tip about how to set the SL?

And I also think I need some indicator because only trend lines is kind of random... sometimes the support/resistance lines gives the perfect entry and sometimes it's a breakout and fail...

Hey mate! Give me some time and i try to find a solution. Are you talking about indicators for ninja or mt4?
