Inside bars vs pin bars

Im aware of the j16-thread and I plan on joining the private forum soon, I have however one question about inside bars that I'd like to ask you guys:

Are inside bars considered as solid a setup as pin bars, naturally with proper confluence in place?

This is going to HIGHLY depend on who you ask. I, for one, don't believe in IB as a strong signal and am not a huge fan of them. Are there many examples of them making money? Sure, of course there are. But I'm not convinced of them as a viable strategy for the long term. If I were you, and thinking about these two, I'd stick with pin bars since they are much more reliable.

Its very hard to give an answer on that because it will vary by the pairs that you watch. I think you could say that for the highly liquid pairs (like EURUSD) during volatile periods.

Also, dont underestimate the need for money management with your TP and SL. You have a pin - how do you know when to get out and when to profit and how does that affect your long-term viability?
