I was working on a new currency strength indicator on Excel Spreadsheet which I wanted to send to a programmer when it highlighted this trade and I took one look @ the chart and hit the buy button without any hesitation for a quick 15 pips

Hi George

Nice trading whatever way you look at it, either TTindy or your strongest/weakest indy. I always have a look at my SW indy as it very often confirms what the TTindy says. Both methods will work because they have to be trending strongly to figure on the SW meters or TTindy, don't they?? I'm finding if I look at the TTindy and theres some combined strength or weakness across it then the trades stack up well.

But what I will say about the TTindy and any SW meter we use, the overiding factor should be is there evidence that the trend that put the pairs on our indys actually still trending strongly. That to me is simple did the last push clearly take out the previous push??? Only time I look for an entry other than that is when a range has formed in a strong trender then I might buy the bottom of the range in an uptrend or sell the top of the range in a down trend. Either way I'm moving to BE as price crosses the range just in case it doesn't follow through..

Bottom line for me as always strong trenders only, however you identify them and confirmation trend is still intact when you open the chart...

Anyway NFP 20 mins away so wait for about 30 mins after then look to see whats trending strongly and jump on board nice little post news trade, especially if we get a nice differential as could lead to a 100 pip plus move....

Morning Guys
Could be a very interesting day, FXCM have updated their platform and one of their updates I will be watching is TRANSACTIONS BARS, if they have true data, they should show how many transactions they do, at what price and what time, not sure if you guys will agree but I think that will be very useful ? now a little of the old VSA stuff I learnt just might come in handy as well as my (WHY BARS)

Spot on my friend great use of a 10 pip stop when we're wrong and a nice hold for 75 pips....

One observation and its only meant as an observation by no means a criticism... But I see that EURJPY loser was in the "Inbetweeners Zone" gets us every time. Notice how your winner was after the LO??? Also as Mr V. quite rightly bangs on about all GBP pairs were weak and their charts all very similar with 100lwma sloping down and price below it...

I think thats almost gotta be written in stone to wait for the money to come to the table and start to flow just after LO...and weakness across the board in one currency or another..

Nice looking trade George nice little breakout of old resistance which according to my chart was also the daily pivot, what did you get out of it??? Looks like it was good for 25 plus pips???

Have a chart open and in properties select all to black or white depending on your chart background.

basically so you have nothing but black or white chart...black best

drop this ea onto it and set your tf in inputs

would this be a helpful ea ?

The EJ made a nice breakout an hour or so earlier, so one should take the first PB, not the 3rd as I did and even less just before LO....

Not really right time of day but GBPAUD came top with 7 AUD pairs in TTindy so worth a shot ....

Good to hear from you boss, thought you had been locked in the shed at the bottom of the garden, sorry but I do not feel a lot of love on your thread to any thing I post chart or no chart hahaha,
Its no use posting a chart because you need to understand a little about VSA and you do not learn that in 5mins, even if asked I am not good enough to teach anybody, I just have my way.

Give over you will make me cry, here is a little set up for you to look at and its that easy to do you will not need me to post any thing.
Start with the GBP/USD the GBP/JPY
Draw a HORIZONATAL LINE at the 5 am Uk time OPEN then put a series of lines every 25pips apart ie +/- the OPEN PRICE you can do this on all the Pairs then just spend a little time looking at the charts, if you do it, and do not see any thing I will talk you through it BUT YOU WILL SEE SOMETHING remember that video ? hahaha

Thanks Clive, closed for 15 pips and looking forward to improving my entry point for better gains
