Hopefully they can find a decent buyer and the accounts can be restarted for tradings.
After a weekend spent in urgent discussions with various parties with a view to selling the company, these efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
We have had a number of enquiries from interested parties in relation to the company's business. We will be speaking with these parties and others over the next few days, and hope to secure a deal to preserve the business and jobs as far as possible.

Well I am based out in Dubai and Alpari UK had a representative office here. So I personally know the top level management for Alpari and I have been meeting them often since the entire insolvency issue. On the basis of my recent conversation with Alpari, all I know is that I am going to get my capital and also the profits incurred.
And this is certainly my first time cause the last time a broker went robust was back in 2005 and although the broker was involved into irregular activities, the clients did receive their funds back. And I think its too soon to comment on the FCA part. Presently there's nothing concrete.

We'll see our money again but it will take time. I have been through PPI (payment protection Insurance) claims with 2 UK banks and it took a few months to be processed/form filing, sending claim forms in the post and waiting + more waiting. The offline world moves a lot slower than our instant internet world here. In terms of this situation our money with Alpari is tied up until the government admins give us the next hoop to jump through in the claims process.
