I don't believe that, I'd say the majority of people have positive account balances. Leaprate said 9 customers made up over half on the alpari negative accounts.

If there are just 9 customers in huge losses...why they don't handle it with them !!! and just let's pay out all others claims???. its been 2 weeks and they dont know if segregated funds or whole or not.. still kpmg people are just assuming. with this they might need years to complete job. everything is computerized last statements are sent to clients, if they want, they can return us money. they are just wasting our time,

what i dont understand is why are they holding clients funds? ok i understand they want to sale compnay. then go on do it. in year time or ten year time...we clients are not investors, we are separate from company. it should our decision if we want to keep our money n not in insolvent company until its sale decision

Yes. That is the smart thing to do. All our interests are similar, if we act as one we can make big things happen.

I try to go about this using evidence. Alpari says they incured big losses because the swissy bank did the depeg and CHF went up in value super fast on many crosses and Alpari wasnt fast enough with the stoplosses so the loss was transferred to them. Thats what they SAY. Have we seen any evidence for that? I havent. Its an ARGUMENT, its not EVIDENCE. If we DID see the evidence they talk about, maybe it should not be so compelling, who knows? As far as i know it can be complete BS all of it and the heads of Alpari UK had their hand in the cookie jar (our funds) which they are using right now to buy drinks in Mauritius, for all i know.

Its still very possible that things happend as Alapari UK is saying. What im thinking here is simply: What evidence do we have to believe them?

On the other hand it doesnt make any sense to sit here and speculate about what ever and write countless replies on this thread. Thats not going to get our money back.

But if Alpari wrote something like this on their website before i put my money with them in 2010, i would not have used them:

If we go insolvent because we allow to much leverage and arent fast enough with our stoplosses, then we take the administation fees for the insolvency process out of YOUR account. (So basically: If we fuck up, you pay)

Then i would NOT have used them as a broker. And thats the sort of thing i would have wanted to know. So that means Alpari lied to me. So yeah, i share your point of view i guess.

Thats a Alex Grey painting you have there if im not misstaken? One of the greatest artists of our time if you ask me. And yes i agree, that sort of thing should be quick and cheap. Also there is templates for that i think, to simply modify and put to use within days.

We talked about this earlier on the thread too.

It looks like Excel Markets received funding from its backers to stay in business long enough to close client accounts, so the clients could avoid the pain of administration.
