I get the jist completely of how the sytem works swing, thanks for that, i am going to finish the week trading as is, then spend the weekend attepting to get the candle part of it too provide earlier entry parameters.

Lol, my GC trade has been jumping around between +90 and +20. I strongly believe in using BE's - not losing is the key. I did an optimisation on a simple scalping EA recently and the best result (yes I know it's all crap, but it is comparative) was BE at 1 and lock in pips at 1! Lots of BE's but at least you rarely lost.

Bollocks.... I nvever got that signal last night, same broker Fxcm, have any idea or suggestion..


Btw.... the eurousd short signal pulled me out the fire yesterday..

thats crazy Me, I jumped into the fire with both feet and a petrol suit on.....I have broken almost every rule there is in the last 2-3 days trying to sustain what is an unsustainable account growth rate.....I forgot what go those gains in the first place....I was trying to cheat the stops and trade bigger sizes on this little test account to see if I could have a 100% month...obviously no such luck...back to my rules and smart trading and we will see where we end up

I think it could be wise to avoid Big News days involving eurusd, i found that most pairs traded all day waiting on the Fomc result at 7pm uk time last night, all day up until then it was a slog, after they resumed normal trends etc..

I also need to stop bottling it, when my trade is 50+ pips in the red, although it's a little disconcerting, i closed trades that eventually turned round, so going to be a new plan for me next week going to fund a new account and start from scratch with a new mindset, maybe lower the amount per pip as well..

Still +47 pips for the week, but a more discipled approach and that would be better..

I agree.....I had the really great returns trading this like my rules are laid out.....I was having a little contest in my mind to see if I could really gas the returns this month after the big week last week....turns out that was pretty stupid thing to do...LOL

EDIT 1: But it is still only Thursday....I re read my highlighted portions of the emotion free trading....still time to turn the week around

Trying to write your name on the hall of fame for a 100% month profit are we ?

Sometimes we have moments like this ! Going back to the discipline path again is something that not all people can achieve .. but you can ! Congrats !
