Another question would be: So who has been getting the interest on 'our' 99 Million for the past 8 days...?

Have send my above post to KPMG as well as the FCA.

Will let you all know if, when and what their response is.

No where in my customer agreement with Alpari or on the FCA's website does it say that in a case like this would a buyer be looked for before the administration will continue.

As a client who are protected by UK law ( FCA) I have no business with the selling of the company. I DO NOT want to wait for that. It has nothing to do with me. I want my money FROM THE REGULATOR! Nothing more nothing less.

The least you can do is to say something to that effect because we are tired of getting updates from other websites regarding the selling process .

From what I understand you can make a claim to the FSCS to get your money.
They will liaise with KPMG to see whether you have a claim then they will pay out any money owed to you once a claim has been established. All that info has been given already. The FSCS claim will take about 6 months.
If you claim from the FSCS and they payout then they will retrieve the amount claimed from KPMG when they finish their admin.
So the choice is claim from FSCS and wait at least 6 months or wait for a potential buyout which can be concluded a lot quicker.
Im peed of about my money too but ive now resigned myself to the fact that I have to wait regardless.

Nothing to do with FCA. They appointed KPMG to administer the affairs of Alpari UK which includes the segregated accounts. Only the administrator can authorise release of funds.

KPMG have to check the segregated accounts to ensure no fraud - rest assured they will charge a fee for the pleasure.

Don't get hung up on the regulator only when its all over maybe you can claim any shortfall.

Be patient you got no choice. Good luck.

Just patience...it's useless to think to much now...WE cannot do anything at this point. So just let's see what will happen in the next days. Maybe we are just making many problems about it and kpmg will resolve it in any solution.Anyway we will be paid soon (at least who has positive accounts for sure).

yes i totally agree..we have to wait..there nothing u can do it make it quick..the adminstrators need to do whatever they do..but right now theres a freeze on transfer of funds..and until then we are basically in limbo
