why? This question does not arise, because that is clearly defined. No. For company funds and client funds are separate. Customer funds can not be used to pay liabilities of the company.

Just wait for an official report from KPMG or maybe leaprate will be announce The acquisition with a new broker. COME ON KPMG SELL THIS DAMNED COMPANY TO SOMEONE SO WE CAN WITHDRAW OURS FUNDS AND SAY BYE BYE TO THIS DRAMA.

our money is separated but the adminstrators get a pay check from it..kinda stinks uless theres a chance we can get more than what we thought ie the surplus shared amongst all traders with positive equity ...but im sure i have this thing wrong

the insurance will cover only to 50K gbp/ per cleint
in case you don t own the company money

so I am hoping for a sale of the company. Because the new owner will provide its new customers not charge a fee, I think.

aplari has no chance..the company i read somewhere was in trouble a year ago..nobody bailed it out..the chances are less than 25% also the longer it takes the worse the after taste. The way we have been treated, we will have to be stupid to leave our money where it is..

I have spread my money on multiple brokers. that makes sense. Then I have no headaches when a broker is insolvent. And we all want our money.

u should see cover up to 50k but anything after this u will have to battle for as its not cover by the regulator

no later than Monday or Tuesday will inform the administrator that Alpari could be sold, I think. And I think one of the interested parties will buy Alpari. Pepperstone has shown great interest. The client list is valuable. And the active customers.
This is aware of the potential buyers. Some customers will remain even after a new owner. Perhaps it is half of the customers pay. But if Pepper Stone buys, I would stay. The new owner has no responsibility for the correctness of Alpari UK.

in my opinion
no one will buy the company, and KPMG is trying to solve the puzzile according to our friend in this dicussion
with less damage to the client because there is the reputation of UK regulation

Since Alpari announced that clients' money are segregated by FCA rules, I don't think any client need to be paid by FSCS, unless:

1) Alpari moved clients' money so they are in fault.
or
2) Clients' money are paid to creditors

But in current situation, neither of the above seems to be "NO", so I don't think client can only be paid maximum of 50,000 pounds.
