Your so naiv. Oanda was 1 hour with no any quote. Why Oanda client have negative balance? Why Oanda after margin call not close the trade?
I am client of Oanda. And I not have a open trade at that moment, but....
If you have a position long on 15.01 on eurchf leverage >4 on any broker to the world your account balance now is zero or minus.
That is the truth about all brokers.
The Regulators must do something about that problem for future. SL must be guaranteed or to have allowed a maximum slippage for SL
And guaranted that account cant go to negative balance.

KPMG is in a negotiation for sell company. In a few days we will know the name of the buyer.

I hope PepperStone will buy Alpari UK. Then I will not pick up from my money. Pepper Stone offers ECN and a leverage of 400.

I think you are rushing things submitting your claims now and in 15 days it want make a difference. First if Alpari is sold you will get money without any claims second if not, administrators first have to establish the whole Alpari financial aspects and the every client money state and that would take at least 15 days if everything is fine then when they establish client money state they have to correspond to every client to verify that those what is establish is on the client side the same or by that time you will make claim and they will have that state.

One more thing administrators have to make information of the progress available which is regulated by the law how often they have to that.

You can look on other examples of firms default how the situation is handled by other administrators they can be find so you can understand the process more easily.

lol what are you talking about? what have i said that was so naive? Oanda and Dukascopy were hit the same as other brokers? when did i say the contrary? what im pointing out is how they are dealing with the aftermath i.e. neutralizing negative balances due to the swissy disaster on client accounts and continuing on business to allow their traders to trade.

Hello Guys,
I noticed that i still receive the Daily Analysis Updates on the market.
Do you receive the same?
Does that mean Alpari UK is still functioning and could continue their operations in the near future with different owner?
Anyone has any more information?

Broker have an average 1 pips spred on news he can do maximum 10 time that spread, 10 pips. Not 3000pips spread.
And no negativ balance
Reglemetators must do something.

According to their UK website they've applied for insolvency on Monday.

You are right.If they have no security in place for such an event an allow stop losses to closes 1000 or more pips lower
regulators will have to do something.I spoke to the fscs ,they said will look into negligence but will have to
wait for a few days till the dust settles.FCA requires best execution for clients.
They clearly had poor execution or else the balances would have not run into negative.

Is brokers an liquidity providers. I think in 15.01 liquidity providers was the bad boys.
We have information abot how much loss Brokers but dont have informations about how much win liquidity providers

I don't want to be nasty but you seem to not have clue what you are talking about. Imagine that there was well known 1.2 peg, would you place buy order at eg. 1.0 ? How many buy orders do you think were placed below that price? Were people selling or buying eur/chf after peg removal? Look at the 1 minute chart and you'll see a gap. SL on not MM account will always trigger at first available price next to gap, just this time this gap was unbelievably huge.

Interesting,,, the broker landscape looks really like a shopping mall where the big guys push their shopping cart through looking at special offers or products close to the expiration date.
