Oh. because of regulation thing Mrs can not help me but she assures me we will be ok.So the only thing at this moment please keep calm and please guys do not speculate anything here as for some of us it is very stressful time so please.

Ok it this seems like I got screw up as well, and I'm waiting for good informations. I've been with Alpari litteraly 4 days ! I wanted to invest my money for long run in Oil, however they close every single trade and I end up with 450 loss which is not too bad compare to other people losing millions.

My Account had all trades closed and it shown 3500+ GBP

Here is my screen shot, do you think I'm save ? I wouldn't be happy to lose hard earned money.

There is also a possibility for a bail out like FXCM.( Loan)

Alpari is not as deep into the red as FXCM and it is not unlikely that it could get external help and continue with the business. I am sure the owners would rather want to safe the business than letting it go under.

I have to inform that not only Alpari but other top big tycoon suffer heavy shock of volatility. My clients have opened and traded accounts in different brokers and i am advising all my clients to withdraw all amount and stop trading immediately until scenario will clear. I do not mention broker names but they delays withdrawal of payments of my clients too. thats real alarming situation. Few of my client said that they told by their broker that they will repay any loss occurred on trades of CHF but i think that is just a lollipop and trying to hold clients trust. PS: In coming days it is expected that some more brokers announce insolvency if heavy bailout package not announce for them by their governments.

That is just a generic email they send back automatically. They usually send you another one when they have processed your withdrawal. I got the same one.

12:35 EST - Stock trading in Jefferies parent Leucadia (LUK) was just halted for news pending in the wake of numerous reports that Jefferies is in talks with FXCM to provide the retail forex brokerage a rescue package would could run $200-300M. FXCM disclosed last night the Swiss franc's surge yesterday triggered losses which left it with a negative equity balance of about $225M. It added it was trying to shore up its capital. LUK shares have slowly grinded higher with the broader market today and last changed hands at $21.84, up 0.9%. FXCM was halted ahead of the opening bell but was shredded during premarket trading; its last trade was 88% below Thursday's close at $1.49. ([email protected]; @kevinkingsbury)

FXCM just got a bailout of 300M from Leucadia.

I guess there's no chance of that happening for AlpariUK?

They lost 45M and are insolvent, yet FXCM loses 250M and is still running?

This wouldn’t be the first bailout Jefferies has extended to a financial firm in distress. When Knight Capital Group Inc. was teetering on the brink of collapse after bombarding markets with errant trades in August 2012, Jefferies and other firms gave the trading firm a $400 million cash infusion

but our trades have been cancelled or will it just be like nothing happened?..i had good trades, there was dd but im sure with time they have been positive swing trades

I have emailed the FSA and will let people now if a public answer is given to Alpari's state and customer account funds.

not sure about the cancelled trades.. or the negative ones..
Alpari already took the clients losses on their own..
but they need liquidity to pay us what we have in our balances!
they must follow FXCM and act very fassttttt as they did!!!

If they have closed trades while in loss or credit when within their margin it should be fraud. Brokers often don't trade but bet against themselfs so a delibrate close at loss is money in their pocket, "fraud".

It is if you look at it from a moral point of view.
However, this is fx cash and it is an unregulated market so they can pretty much do whatever they want, hence what is why hear of re-pricing/cancelled trades. This is just an event that will hopefully lead to some sort of regulation in the fx cash market.

can anyone confirm of the status of the company right now?


we know its going insolvent but are people still working towards the finalisation of this process? any firms appointed to take care of this process?

for example having staff working on the withdraw request made after or already being pending?

i read that someone was near the company's offices... and was about to visit them ....if he/she if could elaborate it would be nice

(dont want to give high hopes... but there is a certain procedure...it would be nice to know whats the status right now....i am one of their x-clients)
