Your posts could never be called a distraction - I learn from them all the time. BTW, I was watching GU as well but I didn't notice your entry point on my M5 chart. I can only say what a difference the 233 tick chart makes. Maybe I should be viewing M1. Oh well, it's all a learning game.

The correct trade was entered in favor of trend, in C, there, probabildades re testing of HH are high, and if there bullish mmtum, as it were, are quick pips, however, fails to come on time, and I just took a few pips more, + 17 pips, with this other trade.Saludos

Sure I will provide you with a chart Some time over the weekend have to head out soon but use the ratios for reference.

Shallow correction = up to 38.2 I expect every swing of achieve at least a 38.2 correction. Sometimes in extremely bullish or bearish conditions this may not happen.

Mid Range correction is between the 38.2 and the 61.8 this is where the majority od the swings in healthy trends correct to.

Deep correction is between 61.8 and structure. I don't like for price to go beyond the 78.6 as this usually changes my expectation of a NSH or NSL however it is what it is. If price gets deeper then the 78.6 I'm looking for a retest or very weak NSL or NSH. I hope this helps and I will get you a chart to get a visual soon.

Although I follow a few threads, I don't tend to post very much however I would like to make a comment.

In my opinion, this thread possesses a rare combination of quality material and quality instruction. All too often there is one without the other, or a thread spirals off track or into the commercial realm.

I think the manner in which you post charts is very worthwhile. It adds credence to what you preach and you do not come across as boastful because you aren't posting vague, ethereal or cryptic hindsight trades. You are willing to answer questions from the broad spectrum of posters that frequent the thread along with producing detailed training videos at considerable personal effort.

From what I can see, the people who are following this thread are showing tangible improvement. This is a laudable achievement, Mr. Pip.

Perhaps I am biased because I believe the principles you advocate here are the bedrock of trading. I consider myself fortunate because this thread already matches 90% of my trading style and I have been able to pick up pointers that have boosted my performance... Well, my account had been boosted until the broker went bust this morning, but that is a different story!

In summary: keep teaching, keep posting trades and keep producing the training materials

Thank you for the comment and I'm sorry about that My broker is also in major trouble and I am concerned about my capital. I believe this is a crisis and kind of also helps you in the decision making process. The smaller brokers may offer you better deals but how safe are you in a crisis. I hope your money is safe and you get it back.

To the not so seasoned traders be careful who you entrust your money to high leverage is a double edge sword and puts huge and at times unrecoverable strains on brokers when the shit hits the fan.

Given the circumstances, I was very fortunate to have only limited exposure.
You raise a very valid point; once the dust settles I shall be choosing my next broker very carefully on the basis of how they dealt with the current situation.

I was. I have been talking with my contact at FXCM and its serious but I believe they will be ok. They just got a surplus of cash that saves their ass for the moment. We will see what happens. I have taken measures to protect most of the capital but I still need to work so left some behind to still work with.

Off the top the ratios do not appear to have been hit. It's close but I have not checked on my chart. What if it is or what if it isn't? Is there still an opportunity to trade? What are you thought? Tell me your case for entry or dismissal.

I just read that they got 300mln. A few hours ago i already transfered half of my account. Lets see where this will end.
