Quite a ride during the night on the E/U. Was planning to turn EA off for the upcoming US news but failed to anticipate the reaction to CHF news. Came out all right...but lesson learned.

How can we anticipate this news ? Impossible...
Generally no important news at this time .
another option for our master GoogleTrader it's a timer in the EA....thx

Would it be possible to compile the EA to mt5 / exl5?
It runs faster and more stable on cheap vps

Community Trend Trading still working in 1.0? Thought it was going to be disabled.

GoogleTrader, any comments on this?

This weekend it will be done.

Note: Trend data for the old version will be disabled at the end of the next week. Thus you need wait when the old EA will close your trades with a profit and switch to the new version. You can still use old version, but without trend data in future.

If trend changes to down with 5 buys open you just open a hedge sell order equal to the total lot size of your buys.
in hedge case with TP i have to set?the same of the buyes?

I am interested in continuing trading with the old version since the performance is quite satisfactory to me.
Can I do so after next week?
How will the performance be affected after disabling the Trend data?
Can you clarify please since I plan to go LIVE with this bot during February.

is there a way the trend data wont be disable in old version?
or why should it be disable?is it right without trend data that version wont work and perform well?with or without trend data what will happen to old version performance?

Not if GT decides to incorporate something like that in the EA. It would set the TP automatically. But yes, all TP's would be the same, the hedged basket as well as the new sells. And the TP's would be dynamic with the sells.

Now a person could do this manually in the meantime (if you can catch the trend switch on the M1). Hedge your buys then shut off and restart the EA and it should start taking sells (we are assuming here that trend has switched to down). You'll have to manually adjust your TP's on the basket to coincide with the sells though.

You need switch to version 1.1. It may work similar to version 1.0 if you disable all auto settings.

You should understand risk without trend data, EA will open random trades and can't follow trend.
