Great start of the week. USD strengthens across the board, on NZD/USD and AUD/USD price is additionally on resistance.

Hi Dovilo,

Got my eye on those pairs myself. May I ask if you entered these on PA on a lower timeframe, or do you just go for itif you see some PA forming without waiting for end of day?

Well, on H4 there is DBHLC on both but nowadays I tend to place trades without closing of a bar. I came to the conclusion that most "true" timeframe for a chart is a tick chart which on MT4 I don't have access to. But with some experience I see how price goes on higher TFs. For example DBLHC is strong downtrend can be just a quick retracement, every pinbar consists of two bars in opposite direction which can be a retracement too. Usually I don't really care about closing of a bar since everyone can have different times on their charts. What only matters is price.

I am in one less than A plus trade and that too JPY. I dont trust JPY pairs , there is too much volatility and probably the banks manipulate it too much. I am just taking 10 pip risk on this one. I am trading of to the south of brn 99.000

For double bottom PA the tails of both the candles should match or the actual price I am not sure. I also need some input as I am planning to buy an Ipad and need to know which forex broker is compatible to that. I have to check with my broker if they are compatible.

I have lost this one. The price has not respected the BRN 99.000 and reverted. There was no solid PA behind this.

I am not sure about the ipad, but I use a macbook, and I have to use a program called 'Wine' to run MT4. I know a lot of brokers use MT4 - so maybe look into the availability of using Wine on your iPad?

few things I'm watching

here is the nzd/usd in some nice tight consolidation that is showing signs of momentum loss(divergence) which means price could be rolling over. Price confirmed the TL today so now i'll be watching the daily/4hr/1hr for any signs of a breakout

Yes, Yen is strange currency for me too. I mean outlook for Japanese economy is very bad and Abe wants to introduce new reforms that will hurt Yen but JPY is strengthening. I have no idea why (profit-taking? too big expectations?) so I try not to trade Yen.

The Weekly outside bar could bring us up to 0.8 or little bit higher.

Yes it certainly could hold around here at you marked area. I'll still wait for us to get to the outter edge of the pattern as i'm not a fan of trading a situation like this till we can show a breakout.

Too many people find this thread daunting so they move on. But just starting from the beginning is key. Read the first couple hundred pages and you'll be more caught up then you think.

I'd suggest watching my newbie webinar here in full as it covers some of the very very basics and may help
