what do you think about this chart of Daily EUR/CAD?

There is PINBAR on one-year low area. But there is lot of traffic above it.

Wellard, I actually just took a sell on the consecutive matching low price action. I do not see any price action for a buy yet. I will also note I am a novice so any input from the experts is appreciated.

Hey Wellard.

The most recent bar is not truly considered a pin bar because it did not open and close within the previous bar. It does however have that pin bar look (a long wick) but the close needs to close back into the previous bar. It is at somewhat of an interested double low area, but there isn't much of a story as is to go long right now.

you have the same bar just about 6 bars back.
this one here closed below 1.40, closed below the previous bar, didn't moved in new ground and so on.

There we go again on GBP/CHF. I have already made 50 plus pips on this trade this week and then it seems to throw a pin bar again. 5300 still remains the FTA>

Does anyone ever go back to the first posts/charts that Jim posted? Such effective simplicity that is liable to be lost in the hurly burly of posts that have built up over the years. I think it pays to keep simplicity as a mantra to succeed in trading. It pays to keep returning to the beginning since one picks up jewels that one had not noticed on earlier visits. Thanks Jim, and the others that followed him that were willing to freely give of their knowledge and experience.

I am just wondering what hs happend to this tread? Those days there were lots of new traders in this tread. but now its only a handfull of people. Has this tread lost its popularity or something else?

Yes, I have read the first 700 pages - don't know how many posts that was, but it was a lot! Also look over the original few pages every now and again. Lots of great stuff from Jim - as you say the simplicity can quickly get lost.

Don't know - It is a shame when I see how popular this thread was a few years ago. Maybe it's too simple for most people - not enough indicators!

Hey S

We get a lot of new traders on here but I think cause they buried us with a lot of garbage in the commercial section(fair enough we are commercial but you know what I mean) that it changed the people who might be willing to look at what we do.

Hang around though myself and many others are still helping out all the time

in my case I'm very happy to be a part of that forum and I will likely in the future a member of the
private forum, but for 2015 that step is out of budget , probably next year !
in the meantime I hope this forum will continue on that way.
I think is very usefull go back to the Page 1 , read carefully, check the old charts......
Protuberanec you are right we have a great stuff here (thanks to all and especially to MIke),
and we have also hudge value in charts, and the semplicity of the initial pages are outstanding.

I am hoping the J16 website is being built using WordPress. WordPress is opensource and Google likes WordPress. It is open source and extensible and then 70 percent of the websites are built using WordPress so it is easy to find a programmer for maintenance and upgrades.

Also care needs to be taken to apply extensible design to website to make it compatible with smart phones.

I did build a website using another vendor because it offered some great designs and then realized that customization can be difficult with that vendor as the code is maintained only by that vendor and outsiders cannot modify it. Also search engines have a preference for WordPress because it is open source. This other vendor offered great designs and satisfied my aesthetic tastes but then realized it just satisfied my personal taste and I cannot bring it to the people so that was the story.
