Strong rejection off the 0.8095 resistance level and a close below 0.8088. Price unlikely to move higher from here for the day.

Not sure if price would be moving higher, but if it does i’m looking @ 0.8175 - 0.8185 price level for a possible short entry.

Agree with the previous post That the AUDUSD is likely to face important resistances at 0.8175-80 and 0.8200 marks. On the break of 0.8200, the pair can rally towards 0.8280 in a quick up-move.

Yes, still short ... it has to make up for my U/J long today which was BUSTED.

Next 24-48 hours has some big news releases in store, AUD really could go far in either direction in my opinion.

Edit: any thoughts? I have been reading very mixed reports.. Most come to the consensus that the news will most likely be good for USD but only just marginally..

resistance points @ 0.8164 and 0.8176. IMO, good short opportunity if price moves up to these levels for the day.

Support levels @ .8048 and the daily lows @ .8034, for the day.

Descending trend line continue restricting AU up-move and the pair is likely to re-test 0.8035 and the 0.7900 soon.

My demo accounts is off by 1 pip... should be .8049 and .8035.

What the heck just happened? USD had very good numbers both on the ADP non-farm employment change and trade balance, yet we still bounced off .8050?!

China prefer stimulating economy more than reforming in this year. so I don't expect AUD will drop much further,. to me, it is not a bad position to build long orders.

Good morning gentlemen, I am quoting a post from June 2014 here. 94 cents certainly was a strong level last year but I need to make an amendment to that quote. 94 is not quite the strongest level in AUD history, 80 cents is even stronger. I am one of the biggest AUD bears you will meet but I am treading very carefully around this level, with powerful movements off this level in 1996 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2010.

A strong 700-1,000 pip bounce over the coming months from this level would not surprise me at all.

Longer term Aussie belongs way below 80 cents. But this can take years to pan out. Many bears may be trapped in the coming months. Trade safe. I'm looking for my first (medium term) aussie long in several years.
