Developing ABCD Dashboard. It will take a while to finish it. Eventually it will alert for possible trade. It's too early stage. You can play around it if you would like.

GJ is top of TT and in and around some important potential reversal areas (Sep '14 high/Nov '14 lows). But its against my CT pre US open trade rules so happy to pass.

It happens, there was a nice little HL if you were going to take and jpy was weak on something like 6 of 8 in TT.

Previously didn't have TT indi when trade rules were written and I suppose the 6 (or 7) in top 8 showing jpy weak could mean a rethink of those rules.

Hi All.
Just a bit feedback here. I started demo trading Clive's ABCD yesterday morning.
Did 22 trades.
18 Winners
4 Losers
Only netted 85 pips, but for starters I think it's awesome!

Clive, YOU'RE THE MAN! This system is the best thing I have come across in the 10 years I have been involved in trading.
Well done. I can only imagine how stunning this system is going to be when all the nice stuff currently being tested is introduced!

Great trading with you wonderful people.

Rgds
Pieter

Hi Pieter

"Only netted 85 pips" Oh dear thats awful hardly worth getting out of bed for ......

Thats a great result Pieter and imagine if you were trading at 1% per pip.... not that I'm recommending that you do but I am fast coming to the conclusion that this is maybe best used as high leverage quick in and out trying to catch these runners is proving difficult. Soon as I go back to trying to catch big runs I come unstuck. Was 25 pips up on my earlier GBPJPY trade but held expecting that bigger run and stopped out at BE...

Looking at the chart I see there was another great run down on GBPJPY but I was too busy working to catch that one...

I think the most important thing now is to wait for the stronger trend figures of 30plus before trading , think thats going to make a major difference to our success going forward...

Keep it up Pieter and make sure you wait for the stronger trends....

Clive, have a look at this CCI setting. It matches with 100 LWMA. {image}

Hi Navk

Yes I've noticed sometime ago that the 100lwma (89 in your chart) relates quite closely to the 15min CCI so I took it off and just traded the slope of the 100lwma and now depending on the steepness of its slope... It meant I could drop the higher timeframe CCI off my chart and just use the 100lwma as the trend indicator and the 8 or 14 CCI for my entry...

Just like to keep it as simple as we can, many of our indicators do the same job when we've got a strong trend so I feel theres no need to duplicate too much. I'm quickly coming to the conclusion we can keep this really simple with the steepness of the 100lwma being our guide to the strength of our trend and then check out market structure and if a clear AB move with trend taking out last low or high then jump on next pullback (BC move)...

I'm also wondering whether to just bank at D too??? Whenever I start trying to catch these big moves I seem to lose out... I guess we have to remember those big moves although painfully obvious after the fact are hard to spot prior to the move... 70% of the time you're get one maybe two good moves and thats it, those bigger runs are fairly rare...

I think we should be happy that we are trading with a strong trend behind us so giving us a higher win/loss ratio and for 1 minute charts some fairly big winners eg 15 to 30 odd pips...and just be satisfied with that...

Just sharing my thoughts as usual just thinking aloud...
Feel the Fear and do it anyway!!!

just talking to clive and i wander if this indicator with the source code could be of any use with its coding and your indicator your building godsclown?

maybe an option in the inputs for true or false to either show arrows in both directions or only indirection of the 100lwma

Maybe this one can be usefull, I work with it in D1, when shows up, the next candle go in the same direction of the arrow. Pop up in the early begining of the next candle and no repaint. Well, like I said, when shows up in D1, I go to M1 or M5 an only do trades in the same direction using the arrow, 100lmwa and CCi 14 (when touch the line of 120)

Here the examples that Im talking about. In the first chart of the USDJPY the last arrow pop up in D1 (05 jan 2015), then in the next candle of 06 jan 2015 just do the trades in the same direction of the arrow, in this case just sell mode using CCI 14 and 100lwma.
