The results and all statistical parameters still look EXCELLENT as the enclosed screenshot shows.

As mentioned above, closing all trades at the end of the day and restarting the EA immediately might just make it SUPER EXCELLENT.

Incorporating a "Close at Market Close"function (True/False) would give the opportunity to parallel test the two versions.

We need at least a news filter too. Each speak is to dangerous specially for grid / martingale systems. Speaks are usally the big market movers. Without news filter this has to be managed manually ...

To all: You need to understand one simple thing, each pair has its volatility, protracted trends or short and etc... Why did you decide that the settings for all pairs fit? Try to find the best step size for other pairs. Increase or decrease depends of volatility.

On USDCAD the EA is stuck in a "SELL" series although the Current Trend is already and clearly "Up" (55.4%).

Obviously the Community Trend has changed from "Sell" to "Buy", but once the EA has made up its mind, it will go against the "Community Trend" TILL DEATH. Which is why the EA should be more flexible going with the TREND (e.g. >52% or >53% "bias").

NewsFilter MIGHT help, but if the EA is in a series of trades already, it would not do much good.

For each GBP-Pair (for all pairs but GBP even more important) you will have to check fundamentals. We have had dissapointing PMI today for the GBP. The GBP lost against allmost all currencies. Monday there is another GBP-PMI. If this is bad, you will get even more drawdown. I would close all trades if this PMI would be bad. If this PMI might be good, then I would let them run

Trading on small TF means to know the trend from big TFs D1 / W and to take care about the next few fundamental and technical levels (thus managing risks). Not doing that is just gambling. Building a Grid / Martingale on M1 is just gambling whitout to choose the trend from big TF. I don't know the logic behinds GoogleTraders trend feature (thanks to him for his EA). But I know the big trend and next fundamentals, so I can let run each grid / martingale the direction I want.

Hello everyone and thanks Googletrader for this nice EA .
I have been running the EA and it runs very good TILL the trend changes and it continues opening positions with the old trend.
In my opinion if when the trend changes the open positions close or there is an alert for the user to close them or monitor them it could be the solution.

Here are the open positions....up to 14 on 2 pairs....the trend has changed long ago....but positions are still opening, so in a runaway market sooner or later
you will hurt yourself.
The solution to this EA in mho is MM.
