Hi googletrader, have you idea about lot size for major pairs? I use 0.02 only eurusd for 750$ balance...is this perfect or should be 0.01?Could give us idea....regards natla.

Who use it on real accounts, use the minimum lot as possible. Because it's still first version, and we not yet see how it will play when trend changes. Also, as i said earlier, every pair has own movements, and settings should be adjusted for each pair before trading. In any case it's your own risk.

I think Backtesting is realy Powerful, the ability to backtest an EA should be the first step before any farward tests are done.
I am what Many Dream to be but only a few can achieve, im a part of the 1%

I think Backtesting is realy Powerful, the ability to backtest an EA should be the first step before any farward tests are done. Ive worked with Grids alot, some work several months then blow, now backtesting saves you alot of time... but I can tell you that grid like trading is the only way that retail traders can beat these markets, I have created Grid systems that can make it through any market conditions.... I have always believed in googletrader, hes very knowledgeable and knows what hes doing...... my suggestion is this, were wasting too much valuable time farward testing, if we can modify the EA to be backtested as acurately as possible, then as a team backtest each pair and find the right setting for that pair, do a 3 year backtest per pair, then after that we can farward test the whole EA

Also you will never know the true performance of an EA from backtesting.. forward testing (preferably live on a small account) is the only way to know if an EA will make you money in the current market condition. I don't have enough fingers on my hands to count the the amount of EA's that show incredible performance on backtesting but blow accounts and fail miserably when it comes to testing it live (or even demo).

Edit: thought I'd add that then you've got the transition from DEMO to LIVE (if you started forward testing on a demo account)... Demo and live are a completely different ball game.

this EA works in backtest?

i load it default setting, backtest M1 period, no trades triggered.

am i missing anything?

it trades both Long & Short rite?

It has been mentioned many many times that this EA does not back test it has to be forward tested.

Yes, You missed post where GoogleTrader wrote that this EA can't be backtested because this using live data from other sources when open each trade.

No, yesterday i wasn't play, in Poland we have a Holidays right now.
