I'm always trying to workout the best way to identify which pair to trade after a bit of news brings in some strength across the board like the CAD news earlier. I went for GBPCAD because it was top of the TTindy.. But maybe I should of looked at my currency strength meter just after the news and identified the weakess currency to trade CAD against...

that being the case I would of gone for CADJPY or NZDCAD as opposed to GBP which was 5th in the table and it would of been better...as the charts below bear out..

Wrong time to trade. Just take a look at USDCAD: First perfect long, but the a sudden and hard reverse.

Hi Clive...
I'm using your Clive's Histogram CCI indicator
Off course it is an awesome indicator, very helpful

The thing is...
The default setting of Red & Lime histogram's width (at 2) is too small for my eyes
I stiil can see it but if you can edit to 4, it would be a great help for me

Sorry if my end year request bothers you
But the file is in ex.4 format

Here it is, but what do you mean with odd?
It is a little bit complicate, so I put the folder in a rar. Just put the files where they belong.
The EA is a Trail Manager set at 100lwma on high and low based on the AllTrendEnvelops indi.
This is how it looks now.

Edit: I did a mistake in file naming - change "expert" to "Experts".

Its my currency strength indy.. It shows the 2 strongest currencies in red and the 2 weakest in blue. The idea being these are the 2 strongest/weakest currencies so trade a combination of those 4 currencies...

You can set its sensitivity by selecting the maperiod you use, I use 200 at the moment but its default is 100. Same as any indicator its showing you whats happening right now which might not neccessarily continue but best way is to open a chart of the strongest/weakest pairs andsee what it looks like. Right now its showing NZD top and CAD bottom so heres NZDCAD chart and it looks ok to trade buying next pullback...

I use to use it by trading the strongest/weakest but nowadays I tend to look at the TTindy and then confirm it with the csm reading or pick the best TTindy pairs and use csm for confirmation of which pair to trade from the top 4 TTindy pairs..

Whichever timeframe you drop it on thats what its showing you the strongest/weakest on that timeframe..Thats quite useful if you want to flick up the timeframes quickly looking for the higher timeframe situation to agree with the lower timeframe..

Anyways heres the Indy in question...

Well I hope you all have a lovely Christmas and I just wanted to share this with all before the Christmas break. Just have a look when it all lines up, when the csm agrees when the 100lwma agrees when the 5 min 100lwma agrees and when the 1 min and 5 min TTindys agree....When the 15 min 14 cci agrees (210 on 1 min)

All these indicators work on their own or any combination you want to use. I personally will be working with a good sloping 100lwma top of TTindy as to me it sums up everything else... We just want to be trading strong trending pairs then its as simple as ABCD......

love it clivei guess a challenge for all is how can we identify a reversal? Therfore being able to jump.in on a rather then wait for abc to occur and start trading cto d

I understand no problem but maybe in future watch a video like that then present some charts to convey its useful message so cutting out the sales pitch. But to be honest I don't need another trader/trainer to tell me that theres a good move durring the London Open...

My strategy is basically all about the London breakout or any other market open "breakout trade" which to me just means catching the move of the session. Thats what its all about here watching for the top trender on the 1 minute charts to catch the move. Thats why myself , Mr V. and the others are always trying to identify a strong or weak currency across the board(TTindy) in an effort to catch the London breakout trade...

Anyway its not a problem I know your intentions are always good even if sometimes misguided...
