It is standard bollinger band use 60 as settings for 15 min bollinger band on 5min chart (3 times more than standard ) for 60min bands on 5 min chart use 240 as setting (4 time greater than 15 min bands)Deviation 2 as default.

Yes yes my mistake i was not talking about this bands, i was talking about the other channel.

It is called the dynasty trader.I'm sorry I can't share it but use Google and you should find it.However it repaints and isn't much for help, therfore it can't be back tested only forward tested.

Hi patron.

good to see im not the only one lookin a little bit on the charts saturday morning.

I got this question: I have seen quite alot of information about divergence, however i cant quite understand how to trade it, is it as easy as seeing the price forming higher lows and RSI/MACD are forming lower high? and then enter in the direction of the RSI/MACD? how will you decide entry point?

Im sure divergence can be very helpful if combined with candlestick/PA patterns and key levels. Do you pay attention to patterns like exhaustion candles and engulfing patterns?

Personally ive only used them as exit signals and not entry signals.

Hi, All.

We all know there are 3 common of market behavior...Trend, Reversal Trend(Counter Trend of current trend) and Ranging market(trapped in channel).

Trend Market is best for trend follow system...and there several chance to re-enter, And there is some chance too for CT (counter trend) if we know how to spot it...If the market change direction...what we see as CT would be the possibility of new Trend or wave. My assumption of term "trend" is when EMA 34 Cross with EMA 89 based DSS system....and wave is refer to length of movement in some degree.

Ranging market is best for CT system(scholastic indi is one of the best)...We might got the top and the bottom and max-out the trade by very clear target....but when channel of range market is broken it is usually will continue to new trend or wave.

And by applying DSS pure rule...We will got ONLY the trend follow system and "half" result for ranging market condition...We will not trade CT as per rule.

But as trader when we know everything and every tools...off course we can to take CT as well. What my point is we know how the system work and how its limitation....by seing and know the limitation we know on how to trade "discretion" to the rule.

By this common sense, i hope for all contributors and participants to inform what kind of yours trade (trend follow or CT or take Top or Bottom for ranging)....so all readers have more clear and understanding...I know we have limited time when trade while doing post as well.

You all can share your view and additional information to enrich all of us here....thanks in advance.

My view on EU...H4....

We now on bull side with 12500 level as resistance...will it broke and how the broke is easy or hard is the question.
On the others hand we have Hard support as well around 12400-12370 level....
So, for me...its better to see this level when PA around there...and be careful.

Daily Bull @ EMA 10,20 Up...EMA 34 Transition, EMA 50 Down
H4 Bull @ EMA 10,20,34...
M5 to H1 above EMA 34...indicating potential bull continue first @ Monday....then see more on PA there.

Never use indicators as trigger. For me, only the price action is worthy of that privilege. In practice, if you drive many pairs, it is
difficult to apply accurately, because pending orders are used.

I totally agree that it is better to use the indicators to exit the trade, amen other techniques.

Certainly no divergence means reversal trend. Indicate only that momentum loss, as in the corrections. For a change of trend in a given grade, the main signal is the reverse pattern, supported mainly by changes in volume.

Hidden divergences have a meaning, depending on the market condition. In scalping, are very useful to find the last wave, the same grade
or fractal. That is, hidden divergence normally (except failure wave), indicates that there will be a new high / low, it will be the last, in
the same grade or fractal.

Regarding the EURUSD weekly, do not know how to interpret the hidden divergence because I have no experience in such large periods
(2½ years). If we were in a smaller fractal intraday, I would interpret as the price is very likely to head south when completing the
triangle, or the upward correction in the EURUSD seems immersed in these moments to complete.

No sign alone is enough to make a decision.

I built a possible scenario for the pair. Of course, this is a product of my imagination and plan where to start to work. But, as we all know, I'm no diviner, so this plan I can be altered depending on market responses.

Other options were grateful to share.

Indicators are tools. It is easier to drive a nail with a hammer, to do with fists. This will always be so, if you know how to use the hammer, of course. There are people do not know use a hammer, and then they think serves no purpose.

EURUSD Daily

At first I thought the EURUSD had started a correction of higher order. But while clearly not exceed 1.2500, I've changed my mind.
So I guess we should be aware of that resistance.
