EURUSD 3 Dec 2014 Counter Trend Current: 25pips gained, still in trade. I don't trade counter trend much at all. But this is irresistible. {image}
nice one Nic - perfect Counter Trend rules too. Just 1 piece of advice - CT's do not always make it back to the 21 so remember to monitor progress & perhaps take some profit around 25 - 30pips.Unfortunately that was another 11pm entry for me so I am watching only.

WATCHING THIS :
The Euro Aussie is sending me signals so I need some input guys - Yvon is the H & S Guru so will be interested to hear if I am seeing correctly?
The Rythym is fine IMHO and if it comes then so be it. No Action unless it confirms so no damage just writing down your expectations. It is sort of a Road Map for the Day and gives us the chance to plan ahead rather than panic right when the signal becomes a trigger.

The USDCHF follow up:
Hi Nic - That CT on the Swissy has not played out yet but I have re-arranged my play for this one if the right signal confirms later today. Have now pegged that long term upper Resistance Level and Macd is appearing to Roll back down. Not sure about a ride all the way back down to the 21 but will use recent Resistance levels as a target but would certainly take 1/2 off at around the 30 pip mark. All Hypothetical of course at this stage - just my way of drawing up my plans for the day.
What do you reckon ?

I feel terrible to read you that late! I’m sorry.
I felt asleep during the day!(just woke up!) And kind of out of my schedule! The way the market is standing now, I guess your questioning is almost answered.But from the chart you showed, I am perplexed and would have been perplexed: I agree that market has acted as a HS. But I like it better when the rhythm is more evident. What I mean is that bounces are not quite as clear as I like them usually. My point is the 21ema: the bounce covers the whole HS. I like it better when a bounce covers one RT at the time, which is not the case. But I did a trade in this pair earlier, took some profit , and looked somewhere else. I didn’t pay too much attention to the figure, since I was just thinking of getting back in on a bounce which didn’t came yet. For now, I look at it as if the right shoulder is not done yet, or should be coming soon. I could be wrong here, don’t forget that! That’s my opinion. But just to say that I agree with you, it looks like a HS! And probably it is one , but when I am not quite sure I stay away.
Let's say it another way:
I like it better when RT contains more candles, when we can see them clearly while the macd shows the fluctuation clearly.the rhythm is more easy to read

GBPUSD Watching this pair. Also cautious of the major Red news about to happen in a few hours time - US and GBP. Leave your comments please. {image}

The Lower Highs are whispering that there is another run down to the Lower Support T/Line but Good/Bad News soon could make this a pure coin toss.
I have tried loading a chart but FF is very sloooooowwwww tonite.
Will see the outcome in the morning when both eyes are open :nerd:

Reading the daily will show the story better of the pair:
- there is a downtrend channel
- there is a Inverted HS
- since a HS, then should have been an upside breakout (around A or B), which didn’t appended, so sold it.
- macd showing a BOZ (or a RT), so moving down.
- many attempts to break (to the upside) the channel-without success.
- on the 4hrs chart: price gets below the 89sma (purple), then below the 21 ema(blue)-so bearish
(one of the fact that there could be volatility is because some traders refer to a flat demonstration of moving averageS (having a kind of harmonic resonance) (as you can see), since it is flat, price could fluctuate both sides of the moving averages )
