Disliked{quote} Kelly when you get a lull in your trading can I trouble you for bit more info on the spread betting ? Specifically do you have to settle every day or can I keep a position open for weeks/months ? Cheers StuIgnored
Disliked{quote} Hey Stu, In response to your questions. 1. No you don't have to settle everyday. I have read that Brokers prefer traders who have trades longer than just a few hours . 2. I have never known the Brokers to refuse positions kept for months. I once forgot I had a trade and cashed out as soon as I saw itThere are plenty of good offers and make sure the Brokers are regulated .

Disliked{quote} LOL ... Yeah. I loaded it twice for 50k to trade a gold EA I was testing and it kept coming up $0 .... lol Since the only thing I use demo for is testing EA's and none of them run on MT5, it's just for the index charts. Bit of a drag having to run another platform for them but as you said, they are "handy" to have at times. I do agree with pips though that you don't really need them. Maybe one day I'll figure out why I still use them. Teething ring? Favorite blankie?....

Disliked{quote} Thanx sweetie. I'll just carry on without them. I've only just stablised my data usage- I can't afford to have another platform,,,, currently I have two running. Aww you big baby ,,,, you won't let go your blankieIgnored
Disliked{quote} yes, the taxman can't lay a hand on your winnings on a spreadbetting account. It comes under the gaming act and treated as gambling. Winnings from gambling like in a casino are not subject to tax
