its a rangey day today but I find trading in the direction of the next higher timeframe is keeping me out of most trouble. I'm up +43,,,, it would have been +63 if it were not for my bad re-entry trade

Try SigTrader MT5 sweetie. I use it only for indexes and PM charts. Have for years. Works ok. Doesn't seem to allow any Demo money though. ... lol

LOL ... Yeah. I loaded it twice for 50k to trade a gold EA I was testing and it kept coming up $0 .... lol

Since the only thing I use demo for is testing EA's and none of them run on MT5, it's just for the index charts. Bit of a drag having to run another platform for them but as you said, they are "handy" to have at times. I do agree with pips though that you don't really need them.

Maybe one day I'll figure out why I still use them. Teething ring? Favorite blankie? ....

Its the same trade,,,,, just showing that I'm trading the big timeframes and looking at a similar setup in the smaller timeframes. I decided to use M5 because I wanted a tight stoploss and because its rangey today. I go BE very quickly.

the correlation is not that strong imo I only look at those + or - 80
