Lucky escape there attilafx, I was just about to post that I had thought about that trade but decided against because of the size of the trigger candle and the fact that red news was due 30 mins after entry.
You must have tight spreads, I'm not sure I could have squeezed 5 pips in that trade from my broker.

Risky entry in my opinion but anyway, it worked! So

Did you catch the down movement? I think it was less risky and even easier to spot so you maybe have done another 5 pips

Totally agree. I couldn't have squeezed 5 pips in that trade

Change brokers you need tight spread for this method

I'm in the process of doing that, currently with Alpari UK. Their ECN acc has a minimum 3 full lots, which is a bit high when testing the water with a new method and their 'classic' account has spreads such at 6 pips on GB/JP and circa 3.5 on EU/JP, which are unworkable for this kind of trading. Took a while to get round to leaving, I've been using them for years.

Hi All, newby to this thread. I took three 15 tf trades today, all winners. There were more but I was cautious. I also do not want to take trades where the spread is more than 2 pips which limits me with my broker. The one criteria of the strategy that I am struggling to meet is the RSI moving back from above 70 to under and below 30 to above.

I took Euro, Cable and Oz this afternoon

Like the idea Brandon and I know someone who is trying but once you start to look in detail there are a number of areas where judgement is used (consolidating and short candles) that make automating it harder. we will see.
