Good to see many people viewing this thread.
This is going to be a great thread to share and discuss money management strategy which will help us crank up more pips and more profits.

Hi Fez, we appreciate your thoughts and a nice pitch to boot, could you quite spinning the web i dont like anticipation much also dont want this turning into a bollywood marathon.

Could you post a screen shot or two of live trades.

I like what your saying about MM, thank you for the advice i will implement it from now.
I dunno about 1:50 but 1:20 with say a 20 pip psl means target would be 400 pip

I will tweak it to suit my system but i can already see a difference thank you sir

I'd like to clarify that in no way am I "spinning the web" or trying to build up any form of anticipation toward my posts. It is great to see interest in this but you need to realise I don't actually gain anything from it, I'm not selling or promoting anything, I won't get you to sign up for anything later down the line. Why? Because I like to think I'm a successful trader. This is why I am always wary of commercial members (no offence at all intended) as I realise that the profits from a successful system far outweigh anything a salesman could produce.

Therefore, as I'm not actually gaining anything from the interest, I really have no reason to attempt to build up any sort of anticipation so that more people read my posts. Should not a single person have been interested I would have still continued to lay out my posts, and then left when I feel I've done an adequate job. My conscience would then be clear; whether others take advantage of it is entirely up to them.

The reason I haven't jumped in with trades/entries etc. right off the bat is that the whole premise of this system is that the entries are not the important part of the method. Every member in this thread could be successful at this method, yet each with an entry of his own. This is what I am trying to bring across. I wish this to be more of a dedicated manual in developing the skills (both physically and mentally) toward this form of trading, rather than give set rules that people will inevitably fail with.

Please be very aware that I am not trying to build any excitement. I will state it again one final time: I do not have some secret method. Please do not hold your breath for this.

Those waiting on some kind of new method will be very disappointed at what I have to offer. On the flip side of the coin, those who enjoyed Sir Graeme's thread and others of the like may well be overjoyed.

I've got a long day ahead of me so I must leave now but I'll be back hopefully tonight to go into the actual entries (and most likely 80% of current readers will then proceed to leave due to their disappointment, that is fine with me).

Hi fezmar;

When we start to trade the top of our search list is a Successful System/Method that will get us into winning trades.

After we find a System/Method that works for us we soon realise that finding a good entry is the easy part.

The most difficult things to Master are Good Money Management and Good Trade Management.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you approach these two very big subjects.

It sounds like there is no management of trades. Once the trade is on it either hits the SL or hits the target 1:20 RR, hoping to get 1 win in 20 trades to profit. I can't see how else you would manage that other than moving your SL to break even once you are at a certain profit level to give you another go at your target?

I did some experimentation on this approach - taking it to extreme sometimes R:R of 1:100 with risk of 1pip, 2pip....

As the intution says, this method will result in great returns when there is a secular trend in the market - like one we say in EU and UJ this year. it will let you keep your right direction trades and stop out your wrong trades. I even did a random entry and it will show great results. Worked great in EU and UJ but not so much in AU.

however (unfortunately no free lunch), it will fail quite bad in range market. lets say if you have sl of 10 pips and take profit of 200 pips (1:20). and if the price doesnt trend more than 199 pips in any direction, you will not hit your take profit but incur loss on many of your trades. so if you can somehow guess the trend range then you can adjust your sl/tp to make money from this.

Just to confirm my hypotheses, i would like to ask fez how his monthly returns were for say EURUSD, GBPUSD last year and this year. comparing that to market moves will shed some light.

Now turning this into trading method require you to answer:
1. entry
2. exit (if any other than auto sl/tp)
3. overlapping trades
4. trade size

looking fwd for fez to discuss some of these in more details.

Just to add, I have actually tried a similar strategy on the 1M time frame and it worked ok apart from commission eating away at profits as the SL was very tight I assume he is working on 5m+ timeframes to overcome this and to get to the target within the daily ranges.

yes in 1 min, commission will eat away all or most profit -not to mention slippage in entry and stop loss (assuming tp is limit order). even in 5 min, i didnt get great results for markets which didnt have secular trend.
