So FX Ray's DP wise we are in no man's land now. Geppy still has some gaps to fill here and there and probably it is best to just wait now.

Yeah just observing it, wont take any trades now, probably as recently as 183.20/00 or 179.80/60 get printed.

SL has still been a huge problem for me. I do not want to use too wide stops in order to protect my account, then on the other hand it might happen that I get stopped out several times before I get to my target. This has ended in losses that could have become big profits instead before big moves. There is probably no answer to this like: Set a stop of 20 pips and go for it. A friend told me that I have to reenter as long as the setup is valid. He told me about one time when he got stopped out 8 or 10 times before his target was hit ... entry is one thing ... exit the other ...

Reduce your size substantially, so you dont have to bother with wide SL in the first place, the money is made by adding to your position.
If you feel emotionally affected, by definition, you are overleveraged. Many a little makes a mickle.

That is not the problem anyway, since my account is so small most people laugh at it. But why should I burn thousands if I can learn with less money? Demo never helped me - you are not emotionally effected by the "gains" and "losses" and it has nothing to do with real trading for me. Splitting position can be the only key for me.

Maybe you should try to find your own way, something you can deal with easily. Your friend is maybe ok entering 8-10 times on the same spot but are you?
Trading is a craft, you cant ask a carpender how to swing a hammer, maybe the basics, thats it. You have to do it yourself until you feel comfortable with it, its experience. You cant skip it.

thank you for sharing. A question about the DP's allowed? DP (2) 183.20 / 00 as was the last time in 2008 relevant. Why should be valuable as a DP it now?

very good advice... you are always spot on and speak facts!!... I'm new to trading also and as the game goes you learn by losing and picking up your loses but not by chasing them!!... This platform has really been an eye opener.

We'll never truly know just how the bankers/brokers really play us. But if you keep an eye out for it, you should be able to take at least 1 trade per week with that method. From what I gather, banks/MMbrokers mix up their strategies, and often team up to take out retail traders, when they see a bunch of trades that could hurt their profits. So the same thing isn't going to work all the time. Retail traders trading different pairings, at different times, going in different directions, is going to yield different movements and results.

Just keep an eye out for the patterns, be patient, and you should be able to gain more than you lose.
