ReadtheMarket - Supply and Demand with Price Action

This is a question that i'd really like your opinion
many times, we see setups without ideal retrace or tangible retrace, such like this one.
but i do see if i enter right there (the SR broken before the rally), the RR would be 1 at least. if this kind of setup works more than 50% of times, why would we not trade it, at least with a light position? its expectancy is positive anyway. but the equity curve does see disturbance due to this kind of trades, i know. sometimes, i just can't get over a setup when RR is more than 1, too cheap me......

Let say FL engulfs and retraces a to MPL? , you will be left in drawdown. How about diamond fake out inside the FL ? you will be in more draw down.
How about your analysis is wrong?. More worse ryt?.
Not only you i'm also having itchy hand to take many trades as i can .without signal. Even IF himself has this phobia as per his post. Getting over from it everyday is trader's process. He grows with his mistakes.
As i said earlier if you like 1 R, try tick charts. You will get many 1R setups. Why we go and waste our time on HTF for 1 R.I will consider it as a long term scalping
.The problem is we take trade cause of bordem. I also have this problem. But nowadays , i try to watch charts and draw boxes as many as i can and see how the market behaves.
you can trade with smaller position if you can find long term move. For that you can put SL beyond weekly or monthly extremes. And slowly increase position size by moving the SL in safe place.It is highly rewarding but totally a different method and slow process. But as you shown can merge with RTM skills i guess.

right, i think you put it in a sharp way "long term scalping", quite inefficient,
my day job is killing me, man, guess that's partially why i feel it so difficult to let it go these kind of setups.

Let me tell you my account journey.
1. Martingale - blowout
2. breakout trading- blowout
3. top bottom picking using SD - blowout
4. Basket trading - blowout
5.Ichimoku, RSI, MA, Fibanocci- blowout
5. Breakout retest- growing
7. FL trading- growing more
But if you tell me 10 years you are trading somewhere in the middle, you definitely need to think about this. If im not wrong, that is the last obstacle you have.

Fxyogi is spot on. Supply Demand along with pure orderflow is the only way to trade and be in the green.
(The FL i marked in my last NZDUSD chart got deleted somehow and i am lazy to draw again you can refer that post).

It will be confusing. Because everyone will add their personality to the method. It is like quantum particle, when you see everything changes.
Filtering out is necessary. I suggest you to download all IF posts and read it from the beginning. Even that one will be contradictory to the beginning. People change so the market so the system.Once you get the key try and open the door. Once understand fully, add your flavors.Keep in touch.

Just please don't anybody do it until you're fully in tune with the market.
So, I agree with you (with reservations for students) on most points, although we don't use candles or their closes as PA. Rather we use zone engulfs
