I have no issue with holding longs on this pair from this area and adding to them regardless of how tempting changing direction is.

What's your suggestion ?
Let's see what could possible 'countermeasures' be like; For the reader - these are NOT comical or 'intentionally extreme' suggestions.
I really DO EXAMINE the ways of action mentioned, and would be grateful for all thoughts / comments on these.

1) Increasing stop-loss while necessarily decreasing the leverage/exposure. That means larger stop-loss yet smaller position size.
CONS : a) Bigger losses if stop-l. is activated, b) Smaller profit if price does go your way.
Strategic DECISION : What IS THE OPTIMAL SIZE of stop-loss.

2) Decreasing st.-l. while employing strategy of SWIFT and AGILE position REVERSAL tactics.
CONS : a) Technical and psychological difficulties performing these decisions on-time, b) LOTS MORE SPREAD and COMMISSION PAYING c) Higher focus and
concentration needed - cause faster faster exhaustion and burnout.
Strategic DECISION : What is the OPTIMAL SIZE OF REVERSAL-STOP.

3) Keeping medium st.ls yet deploying MORE SELECTIVE and LATER ENTRY into the momentum.
CONS : a) LOSS OF GOOD PIPS, b) Loss of opportunities c) OVER-FITTING with added conditions and indicators
Strategic DECISION : Develop Selectivity criteria.

4) Keeping all the same settings and being content IF POSITIVE overall statistics of your method exist - DESPITE stop-loss-hunting operations by the
institutionals.
Strategic DECISION: Optimize the method by tweaking the parameters, by exploring the parameters performance-envelope, and even a bit beyond the envelope.

5) BAck to the Drawing-board. Exploring , shopping learning and reading everywhere for new and different strategy.

Personally I learned to enjoy the movement in both directions - both when she moves up and down.

That doesn't prevent me from knowing its actual long term simple nature of it and using it too...

There is no doubt in my mind that this baby will hit 0.90. I look at each dip as an opportunity to add more lots.

I am in at 0.87100 and do not use stop loss. target 0.90

had a peek at your Trade Explorer earlier today.. i saw different entry level..
but i really hope you buy at low levels and making green pips..

Seems a bit counter-educational for most other readers here NOT to use stop-losses is downright extreme.

One has to have a very deep pocket (or really tiny-puny leverage like 1:4) to employ such strategy.
Would appreciate if you explain how you manage w.o. stop-loss.

Weelll..., seem that the strategy you have just stated [NO stop-loss] is the one I've listed under 1) just with a VERY LARGE stop-loss. let's say 300 pips.

So you do use one of the mentioned approaches - and in an EXTREME form at that.

im happy for those who were shorting UJ and got stopped out..

to those who are shorting UJ without SL.. are losing 300 pips and could be more..
