maybe someone can help me, how can I use the indicator in the plattform MT4.
I push the file "Nihilist_Ultra_Trend_V2.ex4" in the folder of MT4 -Indicators. If I then start the platform, then the indicator is not visible and therefore I can not use it in the chart.
How do you do it?

Tomek11 - You have to put the indi in the right folder.
I have something like this below.
Maybe You uploading Your indi to the wrong folder.

Hi tomek,

You need to open Navigator, then look for the indicator you want on your chart and then click and drag that indicator onto your chart.

Anyone new to the mq4 trading platform should make a search themselves, first, before asking basic question about how the platform works.

I agree. If there was a Holy Grail indicator that worked 100% of the time for the masses, very soon thereafter it wouldn't work because too many people would be doing the same thing and that would create an imbalance in the markets. This indicator can repaint one or more bars in the past depending on the speed of movement of the pair. For instance, on a 5 minute chart if things were just bumping along and the pair was going down a little just enough to make a few red bars and suddenly some news came out that the economy of that country was turning upward dramatically, people start jumping on it and buying that currency making the previous red bar turn blue. When even more people jump on the news, the bar before that can turn from red to blue. This is like a rope that may have been lying flat on the ground and all of a sudden someone yanks on it from above, so that it pulls the FORMER flat rope upwards, turning it from red or gray to green.

I look at the Nihilist Ultra trend as a potential trade and then look at the trend of the pair and generally take trades that follow the longer term weekly or monthly trend. I used to trade against the trend no matter what but now won't do that unless it has been reversing trend for at least a week or more.

about repainting issue:
red & lime can changed to gray, gray can changed to red or lime. but red never changed to lime or lime never changed to red.

Dear nihilist... on the lower tf like 5m I have observed it does go straight from lime to red or vice versa.

anyhow your work is great with other indicators that you got as compliment to UT.

tnavi and tk5 must be kindred spirits. is honored to have the privilege to learn from this two excellent traders. The breaking of HA with tnavi`s TL`s are very similar to that observed with TK5 5EMA shift2 behavior. The difference in concepts might lie in confirmation filters: can be TA or indicators. The trader could benefit from the best of both worlds.

Lets stick to the system now that you have your trade explorer on so we can keep track of the results, at least on that account

Bad news from Canada and good news from great britain stopped me out of my GBP/Cad trade with only a few pips profit. sometimes price will retrace back to the original trendline that broke. This can be a good place to get in at times as long as a trendline is not broken in the opposite direction. So I decided to get back in and I am looking for a close below the original trendline that broke in yellow . This is fairly risky But the reward could be great if price takes off to the downside.Only time will tell. Have a great weekend everyone!
