longs closed...sitting tight...still in "buy the dip" mode IMO. I was planning to hold best entry, but, went ahead and banked it.

a dip is coming....perfectly fine with me..

What a beautiful move today. Classic set up. Set up the bull frenzy and then pull the rug from right under them. We're in the middle of a VERY STRONG trend right now. I'm very tempted to add to my position right now, but I will be patient and wait until we're below 0.86.

beautiful move for anyone who wasn't on that bull train wreck. I think most got out in time, hopefully. Glad I wasn't on it, as I lost interest in this pair's indecisiveness.

However, I wouldn't get too comfortable, even for short positions. Nothing has really been established in terms of direction, only anticipation.

All that happened was top of the range is rejected. Now headed to bottom. Up and down again, until it gets beyond the last daily high/low, it's still in a range, no matter how pretty that bearish engulfing bar looks, it doesn't promise it'll make it past the bottom range boundary

Plus, it is rather interesting that it did make a new high. Might want to consider that, any who are still short...

If I had to pick a direction on this from where it stands right now for 300 pips, it would be up. But of course, only my opinion. Now back to trading something that knows which way it wants to go

New high meant nothing. It was a month high, but not much more than that. Today's move nullifies any sign that market movers are bullish. They don't want anything to do with Aussie dollar. The way it sold off today illustrates how overvalued the Aussie is versus the US dollar. Weekly chart tells the story.
