Yes it does repaint on the "CURRENT" bar.

When the bar closes, it does NOT repaint after that time. That is why you enter on the "OPEN" of the next bar after the signal bar, which should roughly equal the "CLOSE" of the signal bar.

Dear tnavi,

Thank you for your great Thread. I have got ULTRA TREND v2.EX4 INDICATOR & glory D1 chart Template. but after installing the indicator & template in the daily chart shows
only Heikin Ashi candlesticks & the indicator. You have suggested to paint little trend lines so that it touch the glory. As i am a newbie it's difficult for me to do that. Would you kindly
suggest how to do that?

Out of all of the strategies I have found on here I find this one to be the most interesting. I trade on my phone only and I will be using fractals to help me draw TL. This will help me to stay consistent. We should compare charts

Hi lesuer,
I think you are drawing the trend lines a little off but I also could be wrong in saying this.
This is how I have done them by looking at tnavi's chart.
Hopefully someone will confirm for us.

Forexday,

i started red drawing them like that, but they look a little "extreme" for me. I wanted more consistency and less subjectivity hence the fractals.... I guess if we all start showing our TL then we can get some feed back.

I do like how your TL look, aswel as tnavi, I am just having a hard time drawing them in

When does the "Daily" candle open on your system???

Not everyone has the same "Daily" candle. It depends on your broker. My "Daily" candle opens @ 17:00 (EST) and works just fine. Others will have a different start time for their "Daily" candle.

What is important is that you have to wait for the previous "Daily" candle to close so that the indicator will not 'repaint' any more. This will then give the proper signal based on the "Closing" price of the previous candle.

Will you enter the new trade at exactly the "Closing" price of the previous candle? Not always. In the moments it takes to place the "Market" order to enter the trade the price may change. Sometimes in your favor, better fill. Sometimes against you. All in all it should average out.
