To learn to trade is a long individual journey no two journeys are exactly the same. I've found what works for me, everyone has to find what they are comfortable with and gives them an edge in the market.

I'll post the EUR/USD chart as this should show what I'm looking for.

After a prolonged trend, in one direction, we need to know when that trend is turning the best way to see it, that I've found, is shown in the D1 chart below.

Can someone help train me to use this system? I've been following the thread for a long time but I still cant figure out a way to be profitable with these indis. I would really like it if someone could mentor me one on one.

Hi Megahead,

Nihilist has posted his indicators and more or less left it up to us to find the best way to trade them.

In this Post 4,766 I showed a way that could be used to follow indicators mechanically. You could do some back testing on this to see how it might work for you.

I don't know how much trading experience you have, so don't be offended if, I suggest you start here http://www.babypips.com to get a good grounding in trading.

I have been through all of babypips and a similar forum post on forex factory. I don't have much actual experience though with the charts, which is why I feel like I need some mentoring. I will go back to your post and backtest the system mechanically though. Thanks for the reply....

Just for curiosity though, have you backtested it? What are your results with it (just taking pure mechanical trades)

Hi Megahead,

I haven't done extensive testing of this but it does look promising.

It gives the opportunity to ride a trend but there will also be times when you will be giving up profits when the market turns.

Thank you for your kindness steve for showing us your charts . With that being said my opinion is that bears are not done with E/U . So with that in mind I stay aside from E/U for a while .

Hi Purex,

You might well be correct.

The PA that I've highlighted on EUR/USD, I've seen many times before and, can lead to a change in trend.

I look to repeat things that have given me an edge in the past and give me a positive expectation.

Yes you are right, the author gave what he considers good tools so everyone can use them as they want, I see no specific system here and a probe is all the different templates and approuches there are with all these indicators. Being some of the principal ones based on standar ADX indicator.
Indicators always obey Price, not the other way.
