They finally got 'er done!

Dear Steve Hopwood members and clients of Global Prime,

Over the last year Global Prime has invested considerable time and effort into upgrading our infrastructure to ensure rock-solid stability and an optimal trading environment for all of our clients. We have recently acquired new dedicated MT4 servers for Live and Demo which are armed with sophisticated and state of the art bridging software.

We will be implementing the server move this coming weekend and changes will come into effect ready for trading on 29/09/2013 @ 21:00 GMT +0 (Market Open). Please make a note of this date as there are important changes which you will need to consider before then.
If you trade like me, you'll be homeless and broke within a week.

having tremendous problems with their 06 server since 00:00 NZ time (+12GMT) connection issues galore and its taken for me to notify them.

this means.

they do not have sufficient monitoring
they do not have resilient, highly available servers
the availability & reliability one would need if running robots & large amounts



sort it out or ill find someone with proper infrastructure
I read a lot of good review from that site, but im still skeptical about them.

I joined them not long ago after falling on one of their adds. On the link, they say that they would give me a 225$ bonus but once I signed up, I received nothing. I talked to their costumer service and the promessed that they would send me an email about the bonus but they never did. Im not sure if they are really realiable anymore.

Did you read what the terms and conditions are on their website and have you met them ?

i read what was on their cover page and what I could found about the bonus. Then I contacted them to have more detail but never replied me back

when you sent email and left message want speak to their manager u most likely never get a answer. At least thats what i found out. I have to make the comlain to ASIC instead.

Also disconnects happened all the time now for days

My TP order was hit but the order not close because they will do nothing for 5 mins after the market open......WTH is that ? First time heard those things.

Then it was touched again on the 6th min time but they just sample say it did not to me. When i ask for price for each second of that 6th min so i can verify it they just simple stop reply your email and told you will call back but never call back.


Any one know what should i do about this ?? thanks
Tonight of all night (NFP) the server crash after the news. Last months NFP night 10 mins post results dropout. This is starting to sound like a broken record! Anyone experiencing this problem. I love the way they started blaming my computer when I couldn't place orders then when the ticks stop they say their server has crashed. Apparently it was legacy issues. I suspect they have to get rid of them 8088 chips and replace them with budget Core 13 to say the least! LOL

Now using the backup for such fatal events the good old reliable FXCM feed. Victim of their own success? Anyone having good experience with Pepperstone? I think I will definitely give them a go because now the phobia when no ticks goes through I automatically think I am trading with a ghost server.
over the past few weeks Axi has been having a lot of dropouts.

Tonight they excelled themselves with numerous dropouts and the final outage (lol - do not think so) of 90 minutes.

These guys can no longer be trusted with your money. Attached is the evidence

Hello All,

I am shopping around for a new broker, so I'm trying out a bunch of them with Demo MT4 accounts. I'm noticed that Axitrader's overnight swap rates are very changeable. Within 1 week, a buy position on EUR/TRY went from -50 points to 0 points to -339.99. This is a huge headache for people trying to hold long term positions. Does anyone else have any experience with this?
Anyone having price traded doesn't match the price on the charts, really bad lately when things heat up and takes ages to catch up.
Makes there charts untradeable.

Did you see on live charts price gaps recently on news releases?
I must admit I haven't really noticed that Onu but since volatility has kicked in when price really starts to move price on the chart can be up to 10 pips/ minute or so behind actual price so you press buy and you have no idea what price your going to get looking at there charts, pretty messed up.
What server are you on im on 05.
For some reason they have taken away the ability to change servers.

Unfortunately at this stage we do not have a definite time of when it will be resolved.

Live Chat says US Live 6 server no problems reported

Could be my internet; how can I check that? Any suggestions?

The sound is driving me batty - they suggest to re-install, really !!!

its their server, it platform keeps freezing needing to be restarted, terrible connection today,
