No system is perfect so is DBX.
However, DBX is pretty useful compared to all the systems I have bought before.
An understanding of how DBX works is a must to reap the pips-making potential of DBX.

Yellow bands are very important.
When the upper DB band hooks up and both RED and GREEN Indexes are also up, it's a conformation that the pair is moving up.
The lower DB band works the other way.

AU M15 DBX offers a close-up view of H1 DBX.
Cyan DBX Index has given an warning of the coming down move but a confirmation is a must.
Then watch blue MDBi to determine when to enter the short trade.

The blue MDBi keeps users from entering trades too soon.
For those people who lack the patience, MDBi is a savior.

DB what would be the confirmation in your picture above?,
Does the upper yellow band have to bend down and stay down till the next 15M bar closes?
Do you wait for the green and/or purple lines to point down as well?

After AU M15 MADi crossed MDB, shift back to H1 DBX for confirmation.

How to use the components is up to each user.
The more components moving to the same direction, the more reliable the setup is.
H1 confirmation is critical.

Usually M15 DBX has 2 peaks of cyan DBX Index at least.
Three-peaks is near the extreme. Four-peaks is a sure shot.
The first one is not a good signal most of the time.

If you are using DBX, you may see the blue MDBi is still above MDB.
This means no entry at this point.

I would set up MT4 as shown below to make sure the entry is not off too much.

Using H1 DBX will not get you the entry at the very top.
However, it is a much safer way to make sure the entries are not off too much.

Second peak of cyan M15 DBX Index has formed.
The first peak of cyan H1 DBX Index has also formed.
I would wait for second peak of H1 DBX Index.

AU DBX combo shows the uncertainty at this point.
Don't take H1 red Doji for granted.

Current AU H1 pattern and DBX formation suggest a continued move to the upper side.

I added AU H4 DBX to the combo charts.
Since the readings do not point to the same direction,
if conservative, wait until all three DBX readings are aligned.
Because H4 DBX still points to the downside, H1 DBX may move back down again.
